Value for money! Perfect location, super friendly and helpful host. Would definitely recommend for short stay if you are looking for comfort on budget.
The lady running the hotel is very friendly and helpful... and chatty!. Good position in Cat Ba centre. They also organise trips, taxis etc. Good value basic accommodation
Room was a little tired, cleanliness ok but could be improved.
The Lady managing the place is very nice and friendly! She did her best to help us out and to have a chat together!
We got a room that had two queen size beds, private bathroom and a/c plus fan. It was comfortable, even if the cleanliness could be improved.

The shutters are locked at 12am so makes it feel as though you have a curfew
The lady that runs the place was the best. She was really kind and helpful. She helped us with laundry, motorbike, booking of transport to Hanoi (transfer went exactly as it was described to us 👌🏿).
She was also very receptive when we showed up tired after a night bus and made sure to make a room ready for us as soon as it was free.
The room was spacious with large beds, had a smart TV and we could refill our bottles downstairs. The location is right in the middle of the tourist area.
The bathroom had no fan, so it remained damp all day and all night.
And then there's the cockroaches. They are everywhere on the island and can be seen on the streets at night. Not sure how much to blame the Little Vietnam for this, but seeing a roach crawling in our room before going to bed was not nice, neither was setting two more downstairs when going to get water.
The hotel is in a perfect location. Minh was the best host; she always made us smile and made our stay very comfortable! I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on Cat ba!!!!

There is so much to say about this hotel, but only good things! The hostess is such a nice and caring person. Our room was super clean and super comfy. It's well located and the hotel is also a restaurant (the lady is a very good cook and prices are super cheap). They also offer massage service, which was great and affordable as well!
