Good stay, the room was good. Good closet space.
Some minor repairs needed but overall the room was ok.
Shared bathroom was a little concerning as a female but as there are few rooms it wasn't so bad.
Bathroom was along landing but clean and shower was very good and very clean.
Room could have been a little more updated and modern but for the price, a good stay.
Value for money, parking, close to Scarborough
Not en-suite. Basic. Rooms very hot and radiator was on sometimes. No staff around in morning when needed to ask.
Didn't use the accommodation for food so cannot rate that. Comfortable bedroom and quiet location.
The shared toilet/ bathroom was a little dirty but probably only to be expected from shared facilities.
Nothing !
Reception area for accomodation smelt old & dusty, room very basic & not too clean , supposed to be en suite , not so pub looked very careworn & not too clean , rubbish outside not tidied up I could go on & on !, if I'd paid £40 for this I'd think I'd been robbed , if this is what marstons pubs aspire to I think they need to take a serious look at themselves !
It was a good location and the room was comfortable with a lovely view. Good parking options in the pub car park if you need it and decent price.
Pub itself is quite loud, which might not matter to everyone but just something to be aware of if you're staying there and expecting a quiet evening. Shower in shared bathroom is quite small and bathroom could do with more toilet paper to save you having to go to bar and asking for more.
The cleanliness of the place, the spacious room and bathroom, the tea making facilities even though there was no plug near the kettle.
Too much heat 🥵 in the room even though window was open coming from downstairs, the day bed had 3 missing bars but both beds were uncomfortable for me so didn't sleep very well
Having stopped here previously, twice in fact, and found it good value for money, we decided to return, only to find we didn't have a room!! despite booking it in March 2026, for a stay scheduled for May! the property blamed booking.com!! very poor service on arrival and staff didn't seem to care we'd travelled 160 mile with two dogs, for a 2 night stay and had to travel home again due to accommodation being rare with two canines!! we weren't prepared to hang around in the hopes an alternative could be found, as by this time it was 8.30 pm!!! will never book again!!!
Just wanted a night by the coast and this was the cheapest dog friendly available. Was really pleased when we arrived, it was nice, clean, kettle and tea/coffee, really comfy bed. Unfortunately no en suite but bathroom next to bedroom so no problem.
Pub on site was nice and friendly, there was plenty of grassed areas for dogs to use.
Only 3 little milks on the drink tray, probably OK for most but I drink a lot of tea!
Everything else was lovely
The locality to Scarborough centre. It was comfortable and the access to the rooms easy enough.
The downstairs area could do with an upgrade. This place has so much potential but lacks it due to not being updated
Boooked advertised family room arrived no familt room so didnt stop looking for refund and compensation for additional costs stopping elsewhere
Prperty tired and dirty
Everything
Clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful
Shared bathroom, but not an issue on our overnight stay
