Wonderful location with great food , polite helpful staff and walking to water sports activities
Pros:

Huge rooms next to Tehri Lake. Great dining. The hotel upgraded the rooms free of cost .. and arranged for a special cake for a special event. Food is exceptional and location is perfect if you are visiting Tehri lake which has some exciting unbelievable views along with a number of water sport activities.

Cons:

I got a free upgrade as the property had available rooms and the front desk manager was a very nice person. The location is sought after hence the prices .. a slightly more competitive hotel room charges and the food will attract many more guests.. though again what hotel is offering is lavish so can reason either way … Also NOTHING to do with hotel but if they can feedback as a local business to the Tehri Lake managing body .. to streamline and smoothen the water sport activities .. at present it looks like a poorly organised with touts around ticketing place .. and also tickets are expensive .. the volumes can bring them down but again needs attention and publicity to attract good number of crowds .. Also some of the motor boats etc are poorly managed with smell of diesel and possibly tricking into the lack water harming the ecosystem... though the drivers are friendly . Again Tehri lake has nothing to do with this good hotel but hotel's business depend on the lake as that is the USP and hence should feedback.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay very much at Le Roi.. The staff is very friendly, the view of the lake from our room was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Overall stay is good and most of the attraction are nearby to the Hotel.

Near the lake

Cons:

Too isolated. Lobby and halls all polished stone floors, thus noisy and loud with people walking, talking and kids crying, yelling. Place devoid of any expected lakeside charm.
