The room was very large, clean and location was perfect. It was quiet in the evening (we stayed on a Saturday night).
All of the staff were super friendly and helpful but not overwhelming.

-Very friendly welcome when we arrived.
- Room size was huge and plenty of space to put away our clothes and empty our luggage.
- Big spacious bath.
- Easy access to room during and after opening hours.
- Water/tea/coffee provided.
- Comfortable bed.
-The breakfast was homemade and all food was locally sourced, and most importantly was delicious. Possibly a little pricey for the portion size, but worth it as a treat as the quality was top notch.
- A small thing we didn't like was the bed frame, very thick wooden frame around the mattress and found ourselves constantly knocking our shins into it but that's just personal preference.
- No shower, which could be an issue if you are time-restrained or have appointments to get to but not an issue during our stay.
The property and staff are lovely
The pillows were very thin and need replacing. The wooden edge around the bed is very difficult to climb in and out. Bedside lights or a bed switch for the main lights would be great.
Breakfast was very good. Nice quirkiness to the hotel.
