Great little hotel, excellent rooms with lots of space and high ceilings
Pros:

We've stayed before and will stay again.
We stay Sunday nights - because we have stuff to do in the area over Sundays/Mondays, and the Clive is convenient - also the price is reasonable on a Sunday evening.

Cons:

The ONLY downside - is that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings - so always take this into account.

Historic hotel just outside Ludlow.
Pros:

The hotel is located just off the main road with ample free parking. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with a fridge and all the usual requirements (kettle, etc.,). We arrived during the heatwave and fortunately, there was a fan in the room which proved to be a blessing. There was a bath as well as a shower.
Daniel was extremely helpful.
The adjacent facilities were a bonus with a farm shop. distillery, art gallery and large cafe, where we had breakfast.
It was just a short drive into Ludlow.

Cons:

A shame that there was no breakfast in the hotel but it was only a short walk to the cafe.

A wonderful stay, comfortable and very attentive and friendly staff.
Pros:

All very well looked after and very well equipped

Cons:

My only thought is that the courtyard area would benefit from a power wash.

Wonderful hotel and great value for money
Pros:

This is a fabulous hotel. We have friends in the area, so will definitely be staying there again. Our room was large and tastefully decorated with everything you needed. There is a fridge with a mini bar and ample room to store a couple of bottles of water or pop that you may have with you. The bathroom is large and has top end soap, shampoo and body lotion. There was a good fan supplied and windows that open wide (not regulated to 6 inches, as with a lot of hotels). Everything was immaculately clean, with good bed linen and white fluffy towels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and even showed us to our room. Every detail has been well thought out to make your stay a pleasant experience.

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing that we could fault about this hotel for our particular needs.

Excellent accommodation with friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

We had Sunday lunch before we checked in. Sunday lunch was very good and very good value for money. The check-in staff we excellent and very helpful.
Breakfast was taken in an adjacent building at additional cost with complimentary tea or coffee on each morning as guests of the Clive Arms.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have the opportunity of a (full) breakfast in the dinning room of the Clive Arms in the morning.

As the restaurant was closed, we had to stop elsewhere to find food, which delayed our journey and meant we would arrive

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay and would definitely recommend
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We are both elderly and need a helping hand occasionally everyone went out of their way to assist.

Cons:

Everything was perfect for us At first we were concerned about the lack of catering on our arrival, However the delightful farm shop next door catered for our every need.

Pros:

Perfect place to stay for the Ludlow Gin Distillery Experience, which is on your doorstep.
Very nice accommodation.

Cons:

Service very slow in bar/ restaurant, but they were short staffed and had a large group come in unexpectedly. So we understand that. Saying that, all the staff were very pleasant and did their best.
