Fabulous location
Pros:

Pros:

Pub was a lovely old building. The full English Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

Was not happy when told we at to be back at the pub for 11clock as the doors of the pub shut at 11.30 this was not ideal as we wanted to say out for England game. It should tell you this on the Booking.com site before you book the room.

Warm welcome. Straightforward check in. Good location.

Run down bedroom interior. Bathroom door wouldn't stay shut. Staff smoking outside guest windows meant waking up to cigarette smoke.

I was very disappointed with my room and got the impression that the rooms to the front of the building would have been

Cons:

Poorly ventilated room with the only window surrounded by higher buildings and right next to a noisy generator. So heat and sleep were issues.
The room was advertised as having Wi-Fi and though that was true of bar area it certainly did not true in my room. When notified the proprietress seemed to think as it was free it did not matter. I would not book a room without Wi-Fi so it certainly matters to me.
Also no toilet brush!
Also no shower toiletries and nowhere in the shower cubicle for them if they had been there

Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Staff couldn't do enough for us. The pub is a locals pub and everyone was very friendly

Great old pub

Cons:

Booked for B&B and told breakfast was between 0800 and 0845.
Came down and told by cleaner that no one was in to cook breakfast !!! Also no staff to help so had to leave and sort ourselves out.
