Probably good winter hotel, bad summer hotel. Bring earmuffs.
Pros:

The staff were quite helpful and willing to help people with the strange check in.

Cons:

No matter what I did I could not get the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. The hotel supplied two small desk fans in place of an AC unit which could be plugged into at one of the three outlets that were not close enough to the bed for the little fans. What I finally got to work was to open the window and point a fan inwards in front of it which dropped the temperature of the room from 85°F to 75°F which was manageable. That did sadly mean I had to leave the blackout curtains open slightly letting the 20hr daylight and 4 hr after sunset light into the room. The hotel is also located ~300 feet from a bar that has live bands.

Pros:

We live in a three-room house. The living space is quiet, spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Excellent value for money

Cons:

There was no message telling us that we had to check in at The Valley Hotel first.

The smell was unpleasant when we first walked in. The basement is untidy and the garage is full of clutter.

We hope to stay here again!

Historic house
Pros:

Historical House. It was like staying in a house from the 1970s. The bathroom was large and nice. You must use internal stairs to access the bedrooms (2nd floor). The washer and drier was located in the basement.

Cons:

The electricity was out for 1/2 day. It was only in that neighborhood in town. The power was back on in the late afternoon. So no wifi or electricity to make breakfast in the morning.
The beds were small and the mattresses were worn out a little.

Katastrophaler Service
Pros:

Das es ein Bett gab, war das einzig gute.

Cons:

Nachts Ruhestörung durch eine unbekannte Ursache. Die Rezeption, die ja bekannterweise in einem anderen Hotel ist, war telefonisch nicht zu erreichen. Also ins Auto gesetzt und hingefahren. Die Frau an der Rezeption war hilflos oder überfordert oder nicht bereit das Problem zu lösen. Vorschlag war, wir sollten uns Ohrstöpsel kaufen, nachts um 23:00 Uhr. Eine alternative Unterkunft war nicht möglich, da wegen einer Messe alles ausgebucht war. Ruhestörung endete gegen 2:00 morgens. Leider trat die selbe Ruhestörung in der zweiten Nacht wieder auf. Dame an der Rezeption immer noch maximal unfähig um das Problem zu lösen. Wenn die Bezahlung nicht im voraus erfolgt wäre, wären wir ohne abgereist. Empfehlung an booking, diese Unterkunft sofort aus dem Angebot zu nehmen.

Best sleep I’ve had in a long time.
