Cigarette smoke and old carpets overshadow a gem of a hotel and restaurant
Pros:

The staff were nice, the food in the restaurant was good and well-priced, the room was large, and the bathroom was updated. They gave us sparkling water. The beds were comfortable. They supplied linens and shampoo/body wash. The women who served breakfast, the woman at the front desk were very nice. The restaurant and front desk area were clear of smoke in the morning and it was like a totally different hotel.

Cons:

The check-in desk area is next to the bar which I guess is the smoking area. Cigarette smoke was like a fog when we checked in and then ate. The restaurant doesn’t allow smoking, I guess, but it wreaked of cigarettes from the bar area that was open. It was so incredibly gross and intense. I was shocked. It takes away from such a lovely place. Someone also smoked in the hallway outside our room, so when we left for breakfast, I had to open the windows in the hallway to breathe. I can’t understand why they are relaxed about smoking in this day and age. It’s disgusting and makes this dignified, beautiful old guesthouse and restaurant trashy. The other huge bummer was the old thin carpet in the room that smelled like a wet dog. It needs to be replaced asap. Like many people, I get really congested with cigarette smoke and some animal fur, so it was tough to fall asleep.

Pros:

Ideal gelegen an der A7 und für eine Übernachtung bei der Durchreise. Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant sehr lecker. Zu unserer Überraschung hatten wir ein sehr schönes und großes Zimmer mit einen normal großen Bett, nicht wie auf booking.com angemeldet (Blick in den Hinterhof und schmales Bett).
Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden!!!!

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und für einen Zwischenstopp zum Urlaubsort oder Heimfahrt ideal.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage.Das dazugehörige Restaurant war perfekt.
Frühstück gut und reichhaltig. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Cons:

Sehr wenig bis gar keine Kommunikation und Erklärungen beim Einchecken, gerade wenn man das erste Mal da ist.

Die Lager war für uns gut, da wir nah an der Messe sein wollten.

Cons:

Man betritt das Hotel und es erschlägt einen mit dem Rauchgeruch. Sehr unangenehm, dass es überall nach Rauch riecht.
