An Inviting Place to Stay
Pros:

Good location for being close to restaurants, Schats Bakery, the beautiful City Park, and other attractions. Very nice atmosphere that fits the surrounding rugged mountains and scenery, the room was clean and had a good feel to it, little to no noise except for the trash trucks in the morning if you had your window open, very nice landscaping with the creek running through, which is relaxing; however, the stair well carpets need cleaning including the adjacent hallways. Overall, however, the hotel is very nice and the breakfast was really good with adequate variety.

Room and breakfast
Pros:

The best hotel in town—great rates and delicious breakfast; it's better than the breakfasts at the other chain hotels.

Wayfinder is the only choice for us in Bishop
Pros:

We stay at the Wayfinder in Bishop at least once a year on our way to Hunewill Ranch and Twin Lakes in Bridgeport. The staff are always welcoming, the rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent - walking distance to restaurants, the bakery and the Local Scoop ice cream place. Relaxing by the creek is very nice as well. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a long drive from LA on the first night of vacation or any time.

Dingy and Dark
Pros:

Terrible staff! The Rooms need a serious remodel and lighting upgrade! Parking is tight & over crowded, DWP Utility Trucks are given priority and push out guest vehicles.

Wonderful stay, wonderful experience at Wayfinder

Bedroom and facilities great! Cold pool
Pros:

Lovely location with the creek running thru property. Clean, beds very comfortable. Modern but still cozy. Only recommendation--wish the pool wasn't so frigid. Despite it being so hot outside, the pool was so chilly it was really just a quick dip and then shiver out. Couldn't really lounge and enjoy it.

Great hotel and good food nearby!
Pros:

We love staying here after camping in French Camp near Tom's place. The hotel is clean, beautiful and relaxing. The sight & sound of a creek running through the grounds is therapeutic. I enjoyed swimming in the clean & sparking pool. There's also a sauna next to the pool but you must notify the front desk if you want to use it. We watched a World Cup game in the lounge and the sofa's & chairs are comfortable. The gal behind the bar was friendly and attentive. They serve beer & wine. I am not sure if it's a full bar. For dinner we walked over to the bowling alley which is quite a trippy experience. The restaurant adjacent to the bowling alley is enjoyed by the locals and I can understand why. There were two birthday parties going on when we walked in. The service and food is simple and good! We ordered a rib eye steak with a baked potato. It came with a salad and steamed veggies. All very fresh and delicious. We split our meal and it was plenty for both of us. Albeit I am not a big eater. 🥗🥩🥔 We got the carrot cake to go and ate it for breakfast! 🥕 It was yummy.
The tables next to us were enjoying hamburgers which were quite large. This is a great place for dinner especially if your staying at
the Wayfinder Hotel.

Pros:

Overall a great stay for two nights! Large room, nice and quiet, good location, etc only downside for us was breakfast was very limited, pretty much eggs waffles or cereal was your choice.
But that is the only thing we were disappointed with

Pricy hotel
Pros:

Rooms were dark, not enough lighting. No high definition televisions. No channel guide. Cheap hairdryers.
The setting on one side of the building was very pretty. Pricey for an overnight stay

Great Dog-Friendly Hotel in the Heart of Bishop
Pros:

We traveled to the Owens Valley and Bishop to hike, fish, explore the Bristlecone Forest, and enjoy the Fourth of July with our kids and another couple. Our dog-friendly room was excellent, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel sits on a piece of property that is in a great location in Bishop. The photographs that adorn the hallways are beautiful, and the jacuzzi at night after hiking was fantastic. The only reason not to give a five-star review would be the included breakfast. The options were very limited, and on the two days we had breakfast at the hotel, the staff had a hard time keeping fresh hot food in the trays as guest came down later in the serving time.

Wonderful hotel grounds, filthy rooms
Pros:

The Wayfinder Bishop is a gem in terms of its location and hotel grounds. The rooms however, are very disappointing and filthy. Our 7 year old son found soiled women’s panties, bunched up in toilet paper underneath the bed. He then threw them across the room and landed on the nightstand. My wife flipped and took them to the front desk in a plastic bag where they apologized profusely, but did nothing to clean the room.
