How to get to Hosteria Cananvalle:
Follow the Panamericana highway until you get to Avenida Vacas Galindo avenue, which runs parallel to the railroad tracks, and turn west (left if coming from Quito, right if from Tulcan). Keep going along Avenida Vacas Galindo until the divided road ends and you cross the railroad tracks. At that point, take the first paved right. You’ll cross the railroad tracks, and as you pass the Pensionado Atahualpa school, do not follow the paved road to the left but instead go straight on the cobblestone road. Follow the signs for the last 2953 feet.

A deposit via bank wire is required to secure your reservation. A hotel representative will contact you after booking to provide bank wire instructions

Pros:

Bonito lugar, comodo y estuvo muy tranquilo. Ideal para descansar y pasar un momento de relax cerca de la naturaleza. Estuvieron pendientes cuando llegamos en la noche para abrirnos la puerta.

Cons:

Que me pusieron en una habitación muy lejos, era la última cabaña y estaba hasta el final me tocó caminar y el carro no podía llegar hasta allá. También la piscina estuvo sucia yo saqué dos araña que me encontré mientras nadaba y estaba lleno de hojas.

La naturaleza, la apreciación de aves estuvo hermoso, muy relajante la piscina y el jacuzzi. Es un lugar muy hermoso, lleno de paz y tranquilidad. La degustación de café estuvo espectacular!

Cons:

El sauna permaneció apagado. Probablemente por el feriado hubo un descuido por parte del personal de la hostería, tanto en la piscina y las habitaciones no estaban completamente equipadas pero en cuanto solicité asistencia, enseguida me solucionaron. Lastima el sauna que no encendieron pero lo demás estuvo muy hermoso.

Espectacular, una maravilla en Ibarra.
Pros:

Un desayuno increíblemente delicioso, con muchísima variedad y con un café que lo producen dentro de la misma finca. El paisaje es espectacular, todo está diseñado para darte una sensación de paz grandiosa y las mascotas de la finca encantadoras.

The location is perfect for us, very quiet surrounded by nature but conveniently close to Ibarra. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and filling. The room was very clean as well. We were the only guests, so there were no disturbances at all.

Located outside of busy Ibarra in an avocado/coffee plantation, this hotel offers a relaxing stay. Only having the chance to have a conversation with the owner (Carlos) is worth the nightly price.
