I spent a weekend in Bormio with my best friend and we found a room in this little hotel. It is very close to the city center and to the Bormio 2000 and 3000 cableways. It is also close to the QC Terme and SPA (10 minutes by car). The staff was friendly and welcomed us nicely. The room was cozy and clean, with a view of the Stelvio mountains and the snow tracks. The included breakfast was rich and well-preparared by the hosts. The only problem could be parking if you travel to Bormio by car, since the street is very narrow and there are lots of private areas where you are not allowed to park. In any case, you will surely find a free parking close to the hotel, you just have to look around a little bit.
I will surely book a room in this hotel again the next time I will travel to Bormio.
The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was all we could wish for (considering the price and level of course). The room was cozy and stylish. The staff made us love the city and the trip - he was so warm and welcoming.
Hope to see you again some day, Piccolo Mondo!
We have just returned from a week at the Piccolo, for the second year running we had a great time. This is a lovely little hotel which may only be a 2star, but look after you so well. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice rooms with a view of the Stelvio piste, plenty of hot water, really comfortable beds, and excellent food. The menu may not be the biggest on offer, but if you don't like either of the two options available to you they will always do you something else. Because we had early starts most mornings they were happy for us to have breakfast well before most sensible people were out of bed. The staff are so friendly and treat you like family. We hope that we will be back next year, and thank you for a good week
