Loved our stay but needed longer to enjoy all the aspects of this beautiful property - will stay two or three nights nex
Pros:

A beautiful property away from the busy parts of Sintra but well located to visit the highlights. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and generous and the staff extremely helpful. The gardens alone are worth a visit.

Ein ruhiges Hotel, zum Entspannen genau das Richtige.
Wunderbarer Garten mit einem großen Pool.
Nahe zur Altstadt.

Cons:

Die Zufahrt muss man suchen und das Tor zum Grundstück ist relativ klein. Mit einem SUV wird eng.

Lo encontramos todo muy bien, es un encanto. Cama es comodísima, dormimos como en los nubes. El desayuno es muy bueno, no hay comida caliente, pero hay bastante cosas para desayunar y además hemos preguntado para hacer el pan tostado y sin ningún problema teníamos nuestras tostadas calentitas. El jardín es muy bonito y la piscina es una maravilla para descansar y refrescar. El hotel es 2 estrellas pero de verdad es mejor que algunos de 4.

Beauty and peace you've long deserved
Pros:

Very nice hotel if you want to live in an old building with old-time charm. Excellent garden with pool and also a football field. In fact, there is no feeling that you live in a hotel, but rather that you have come to visit your grandmother or some aunt :) Excellent place to enjoy peace.

Cons:

There is nothing to improve, because the atmosphere is perfect. But I will say right away that this place may not be very much to the taste of travelers who are used to the bustle of classic hotels - you will not find it here. And you don't need to!

Bezaubernde Villa mit dem Charme eines Herrenhauses.
Einfahrt zum Grundstück mit einem Kleinwagen gut machbar.
Sauber und gepflegt.
Leider war es zu kalt um den Pool zu nutzen.
Gute Empfehlung zum Abendessen in einer Tasca fußläufig.

So glad I found this hotel.
Pros:

An oasis in the mayhem that is Sintra. It’s really old fashioned but for a 2 * hotel I wouldn’t expect anything less. The room was ENORMOUS with the biggest bed I’ve ever seen! We had 3 huge windows so there was always a lovely breeze. The crowning glory, of course, is the pool! Fabulous

Uncertainty of if/ where we could get a drink to have on the terrace.
