Great walk to Playa Alicia.
Pros:

Short walk to beach. Not near strip so quiet at night. Also short walk to banks stores

Cons:

Facilities quaint,not modern ,but filled my needs. Owner seemed to cater more to German guests,(hospitality,food ,menu,signage, TV instructions , in German). Definitely a different experience ,if non German. Also did not accept credit card payments.Parking on street limited.

Do your research. Know what you’re getting yourself into when coming to Sosua. This place is very close to the actions.
Pros:

It’s very close to the beach. Lot’s of bars and restaurants in town. Perfect for solo travelers.

It was a place to sleep.
Pros:

When I sought breakfast, the restaurant was unstaffed. I had to pursue breakfast elsewhere. The hot water was very good. The ac was very good.

Cons:

Live Cockroaches in room was not comforting. Mosquitoes attacked so viscously I had to buy deep before the second night. The staff (not cleaners) never greeted or said hello at any time. They were neither friendly or not, just never bothered.

The cleaning staff was top notch and pleasant.

Cons:

The bed was hard as a brick and the AC went out for two days, no apologies or compensation for the inconvenience I suffered.
