A good quiet location to rest up and re-charge before continuing exploring Tasmania

Nice quiet location after a long days drive. The food was a good standard nothing exceptional

The cabin we stayed in had tricky hot water pressure, hopefully it gets rectified soon

Great value, we required a safe, warm sleep and hot shower, it was very acceptable.
Pros:

We had an early start but the room had bowls, crockery for hot drinks and an electric kettle, we had fruit and cereal with us.
The bathroom and bed linen were spotless. The towels were generous. The decor was simple but tasteful. The hot water was very plentiful for three showers. The independent check in worked well with the passwords provided from Booking.com.

Cons:

If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as we did get some intermittent road noise. The motel and environs were very peaceful though. We arrived too late to eat, but meals are available 6.00 - 7.30pm

It was big

Cons:

Dirty curtains, hot water didn't work properly but they still charged full amount, had a DVD player that didn't work, dangerous for possible land slide no retaining at all but on the side of the hill, tv had terrible reception no channel worked without screen freezing regularly

Great pub meal for dinner.
Pros:

I loved the tavern itself. Apart from dinner and drinks I could walk to, there was also a pool table, a ping pong table, darts and a jukebox!!

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower. It happens. Old pipes. What can you do?

For an older unit a real effort had been made to make it comfortable.
Pros:

Unit was old but comfortable bed, clean and all facilities you needed. Pub was closed and we didn’t see anyone. Message re key safe allowed access. Good heater and electric blankets!

Cons:

Some sort of warmer covering on the floor would be nice!
