Beautiful place and great staff. Perfect jumping off point for fishing or snorkeling by boat. We had a great time. The road to get there has a lot of giant potholes, so 4WD recommended
Breakfast was ok but not too many options .
Pizza was a little bit plane . Not too much flavor
A little bit more vegetarian options
Out in the middle of nowhere, quiet peaceful.
If you are not a sport fisher, there are several activities (day trips) on site (diving and bird watching) or within a 1 hour drive. Chacoben, Mahual Beach day and Baklar.
On site restaurant is good, also explore local restaurants.
The accommodations are not all modernized. I like the rustic, peaceful compound. This will not appeal to all.
The resort consists of spacious cottages right by the sea. Shallow water, at the end of the dilapidated jetty just deep enough to swim and snorkel. spacious cottages, unfortunately only cold water. Restaurant fine, breakfast choice somewhat limited and monotonous (some melon/papaya and pancakes with syrup. In itself all ok, but everything needs an upgrade to make it attractive. approx. 25 min walk to the village. There is no bank or gas station. However, you can get a few liters of gasoline at some shops in case of emergency. we booked an expensive snorkeling tour through the hotel, but seeing various rays and two manatees made the stay unforgettable. Personnel very helpfull for a lot.
Great location great people.
Location to the sea
A little run down
The place is located in an fantastic place. The weather, even though it was raining, still it was incredible good.
I have been a client of the place for more than 20 years. This is the first time I felt sad about the conditions of the hotel. The breakfast downgraded a lot, the staff was not precisely nice. The rooms need mantainance and new matressess. Also, the sea throws a lot of plastic and organic garbage to the beach, some years ago, they collected and clean everyday, this time the staff just left the trash there and therefore it was just flying all around the hotel area.
In general it's a beautiful place but needs more attention.
Francisco was the best host. He ensured we felt safe and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
I have no complaints.
It was a fantastic experience, although the place needs a bit of maintenance, the great location is so incredible that you feel like in paradise. There's not a proper sand beach, but the view from the sea is superb, the place is quiet and the bungalows are far from each other and you feel safe. The rooms are basic but large, with two large double beds.
Since the small town is a bit far, one needs to eat all the time in the local restaurant, which is not so good. They said we would get breakfast, but in fact there was only coffee and fruit, one hs to pay extra for bread or eggs, so be careful! The wifi doesn't work on the room all the time, you have to walk to the restaurant!
Decent breakfast.Very close to beach
Bring bug spray.
Many yypes of biting critters
Remoteness and peaceful location. Had the place almost to ourselves. Food and beverages were tasty.
Facilities need work.
Truly awesome location and very nice and helpful staff.
Exceptional diving with the included dive shop with Ruth and Javier. Swimming out and snorkling was very nice as well.
Good restaurant.
Included breakfast is very basic (but good - fresh fruit, pancakes and coffee).
Cabañas need renovations. Very few possibilities to sit or chill on the beach.
Pier was currently being repaired which made swimming a bit more complicated as you had to go through clay-like ground to get out into the sea.
very secluded and quiet great staff who were very attentive and over the top on everything
the water is awful no swimming unless you kayak pretty far out which is difficult if there is a lot of wind we also had little kids so it was extra hard
There was a beautiful view out to the sea.
Not many places to sit besides the restaurant area, all of the lounge chairs were broken.
