Nix. Wir wussten wo wir hinfahren.

...het blijkt zo vies te zijn. De gehele keuken is onbruikbaar, vies en vol spinnenwebben en ander vuil, de lakens zijn niet fris, de badkamer is verre van schoon, echt onhygiënisch en wij zijn in onze reizen in Azië echt wel wat gewend.
We hebben met zijn drieën in kleren in één bed geslapen en gebeden dat het snel voorbij zou zijn.

Het bad is niet te vullen, alleen koud water uit de kraan wat enorm stinkt. Dus een schone douche na een lange reis zit er niet in.
Het zwembad is groenig, daar durfde we niet in te zwemmen.

In de omschrijving staat dat er een restaurant is, dat is er niet. Geen grab. Dus het is lastig om aan avond eten te komen aangezien het resort afgelegen ligt.

Ik zie in één van de revieuws dat de eigenaar of manager reageert dat hij de slechte recentie vreemd vind en dat er recent is gerenoveerd, maar dat is echt niet het geval.

Wij spraken namelijk een medewerker die toegaf dat er renovatie nodig was, mede vanwege de houtwormen. Ook vertelde hij dat het water uit een put gehaald werd en dat ze al twee filters hadden aangeschaft maar dat het water bleef stinken en dat als ze water van de regering wilden gebruiken het resort twee dagen dicht moest om alles om te leggen.

We zouden twee nachten drie dagen blijven maar wij hebben geannuleerd en met gierende banden weer vetrokken.

Als ik een ding positief moet benoemen is dat we de tweede nacht kosteloos konden annuleren.

Le fait de n'avoir que 15 litres d'eau chaude en ayant une douche et une grande baignoire qui devient inutilisable

Qu'il fasse jour dans la chambre malgré tous les rideaux fermés car il y a des orifices d'aération un peu partout

L'accès difficile au domaine car pas de panneau à l'entrée de l'impasse ( ce qui fait son dépaysement)

Un petit frigo dans la chambre serait parfait

Le petit déjeuner pas trop complet, uniquement un plat salé sans boisson chaude ni jus.

Un accès très difficile, pas d’indication, pas d’accueil. Nous avons cherché un panneau en vain, un accueil en vain. Après des recherches infinies en pleine chaleur, au bout d’un chemin : enfin le logement ! La personne qui nous a accueillie ne parlait pas anglais, ne savait pas le code wifi … Ce n’était visiblement pas le propriétaire. Aucun restaurant sur place et c’est tellement excentré que sans véhicule il est impossible de se restaurer. Pas de petit déjeuner non plus…. La propreté laisse à désirer. À part les draps du lit, le ménage n’a pas dû être fait depuis bien longtemps ! Pourtant nous étions les seuls clients cette nuit là. Dommage car ce pourrait être le paradis et on n’a eu qu’une hâte : partir

The bathtub in the room is a SCAM!
We chose this hotel specifically because it had a bathtub — but we never managed to use it.

After taking turns in the shower, we tried to fill the tub, but quickly ran out of hot water. I thought maybe the water heater had emptied, so I decided to wait 20 minutes. When I tried again, the water was still cold. I called the staff. He told me we needed to wait longer, as the boiler has a 40-liter capacity.

In total, we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. The water was still cold.

I then wrote to the hotel via chat and received the following message:

“The heater is only 15 liters per use, then you need to wait 25 minutes. The bathtub is 250 liters, so filling it with hot water is impossible.”

So the hotel knowingly advertises a bathtub that cannot be used. This is misleading and dishonest.

Also, the little water we managed to fill drained immediately — the tub doesn’t hold water.

To make things worse, the internet was terribly slow — almost unusable.

And the road to the hotel is dangerous. It’s a narrow concrete track with two wheel grooves, a deep dip in the center, and drops on the sides. If you’re not an experienced motorbike rider, you’re very likely to fall. The right groove is especially slippery and risky.

Very disappointed. Our stay was ruined.

No restaurant

Off the main road means of course no restaurants etc. nearby. But if you have transport, no problem!

Disappointment. This is a colonial-style hotel that doesn't seem to have been restored since then. There was dust everywhere, and I didn't want to touch anything. I slept in my clothes, I was disgusted, there were stains of unwashed blood on the blanket, and the pool was dirty. It didn't match the photo at all. The price tag is too high. The pillows are black with mold . I left immediately the next morning.

Looking forward to being back!

Lack of infrastructure nearby, only one higher tier restaurant that we could find accessible on motorbike in sensible time. Only eggs (although cooked different ways) with a toast, local sausages and some fruits for the breakfast during 2-week stay. Complex still in development, so it was too early to be called a retreat. The villa also need a little touch up to meet it's value.
Be ready to meet some local fauna, but it's true for most of Balian properties :)
