Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony and view. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend Hotel Ilé!

the hotel is beautiful, spotless, in a great location. easy to walk to most restaurants etc. in Banos. Nice quiet location. Secure, free parking. Their Mexican food is the best I have had anywhere in Ecuador!
My only complaint was their bizarre policy regarding paying by visa. If not paying by cash, they added $5 per night PER PERSON. Visa doesn't know or care how many people are staying at the hotel. Why charge more?
Hotel Ilé is an exceptional, family run hotel. From arrival to departure our stay was faultless. Our double aspect room was delightful and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and lovely hot showers. The location was excellent, walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc.
Our breakfast every morning was perfect and served with wonderful coffee.
Everything was perfect. We were greeted with smiles and all of our requests were granted whenever possible. We were also given a secure parking spot for our rental car.
Don't bother looking anywhere else for accommodation in Banos - stay here!

The room was fantastic after being stuck in a hostel right downtown, this place was a sea of tranquility. The restaurant had fantastic food and the rooms were massive, comfy, and overall, exactly what we needed.
