Pros:

Everything was great but if I have to say one thing it will be too many steps which made it difficult on very hot summer days

A wonderful stay in a truly unique place
Pros:

We truly enjoyed our stay at Il Monastero. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome.
The room is quite basic, but it has everything you need, including some lovely toiletries. And the view from the room is absolutely breathtaking!
Breakfast was the best we've had so far, with a wonderful selection of fresh products from their own monastery garden. There was plenty of variety, and the staff were always happy to bring us a delicious coffee. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the beautiful view made it even more special.
In the evenings, we also loved staying at the hotel and enjoying an aperitivo.
There is so much to discover at Il Monastero, and you can really see that every detail has been thoughtfully considered and well taken care of.
The staff were always incredibly helpful and happy to answer any questions we had, whether we needed advice about a day trip we wanted to take or help arranging a taxi. We really appreciated how helpful and attentive everyone was throughout our stay.
We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, and we will definitely be coming back. A truly wonderful and unique stay!

Cons:

One thing to keep in mind: we personally had no problem with this, but there is only a lift to reach the upper level, after which you still have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the hotel entrance. For this reason, we would not necessarily recommend it for people with limited mobility.

Deuxieme séjour dans ce lieu incroyable, avec toujours plus d'attentions, d'améliorations. Ce n'est pas un hotel, c'est une petite famille qui s'occupe de vous, qui vous parle, vous aide dans votre séjour. Tout est superbe, délicieux, préparé fraichement par l'équipe. Une vision de l'hospitalité comme on aimerait en avoir tout le temps. Je reve déjà de l'an prochain pour y revenir, cela va être long d'attendre...

Cons:

Par moments, l'hotel peut etre un peu bruyant du fait d'avoir des portes en bois sans capiton, ou du passage dans le couloir, sur le carrelage, avec des murs bruts. C'est minime, mais si certains ont le sommeil léger, il vaut mieux prévoir des bouchons d'oreille.

The hotel restaurant is incredible, and the staff are absolutely perfect.

Cons:

The walk to the room is a little long and involves quite a few stairs, so it’s good to know this in advance, as it may not be suitable for everyone. That said, I personally think it’s absolutely worth it!
