Excellent but should have been advised and discounted re pool

Was unavailable due to upgrade and the pool they substituted was a long walk from hotel and this was not satisfactory

Loved our stay, the hotel, the staff and location. Will come back again
Pros:

The property has been renovated recently. Everything is new and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and location superb with ocean views!

Pros:

Fantastic location and view. Newly renovated rooms which were lovely. The staff were incredible. They checked us in early so that we could go for a beach swim and get ready for our lunch at Rick Steins down stairs. It was our wedding anniversary and they sent a bottle of prosecco to our room. Could not fault our staycation experience.

Apart from that it was great and I love the location.
Pros:

The room was really nice and I loved the refurbishment of the hotel by IHG.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and the toiletries had not been restocked.
Also, the pool was not available which I only found out after booking the hotel.

Lovely hotel but expensive given work was taking place
Pros:

Beachfront location and staff very helpful

Cons:

Work was being carried out to complete the hotel right under my balcony it was very noisy
The cost was high for this to be happening

Great location and excellent Staff.
Pros:

Great location and modern coastal refurbishment. Excellent dinner at Rick Stein’s restaurant. Best seafood ever.

Cons:

Rooms are small and bathrooms very small.

View of ocean as requested, fantastic location

Cons:

The design in the room as a little impractical, especially the bathroom doors. Bar fridge well stocked but no where for ice.
Service in the restaurant was very hit and miss and signage very confusing. Design of the restaurant was odd with several entrances and no host, especially for dinner.
