Staff was friendly, location , pool n restaurant
Rooms outdated, smelly, poor water flow showers, no safebox , iron board
Great location for Legian. Family place to stay. Facilities were great. Across the road from the beach. Multiple pools. Restaurant meals were good.
Our rooms were facing the new building and work started early.
Great breakfasts
Nice property that catered to all
Standard breakfast everyday
Same thing
We booked our stay at the Jayakarta six months before our stay April 26 QLD school holidays. After booking reading the reviews had me worried an we nearly canceled multiple times.
I’d like to set the record straight. We have stayed at Padma, villas that were over $1000 AU a night and been to Bali 7 or 8 times now. Jayakarta well exceeded our expectations. Location, the ground staff, the pool bar staff 10/10. Were the rooms Padma Spec. NO. But the staff made the kids towel animals daily. And cleaned the rooms perfectly.
Yes it does have a slight smell to some of the rooms so does the water. But that’s Bali.
The breakfast we got included for $80 a night was outstanding and also exceeded expectations with a beautiful coffee shop right at the front gate.
If you want full 5 star ⭐️ resort snobby feel. Book Padma. But you pay $500 per night more for the luxury.
If you want, perfect location, awesome pool, good vibes and a great traditional Bali holiday for Bali prices. Book at Jayakarta.
Will be back next year. 100%
The rooms and beds do need a little bit of love. Otherwise everything perfect.
Great location, buffet breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Rooms were dated but clean.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
Our rooms near the pool were noisy due to the nightly music.
The location and pools
The rooms were old and outdated. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom smelt mouldy. Doors on cupboards were hanging on by a thread. Door to balcony was a good 2inches from the floor therefore mozzies and heat had easy access. Aircon was terrible
Staff very friendly and helpful
Good breakfast
Great location
Rooms are a little dated
Its the perfect lite spot to rewind amd relax.
I didnt need to even leave the resort.
Amazing location, great facilities, interconnected rooms great for families, breakfast buffet was excellent, easy to book, good value for money. This spot is pretty central to everything in Legian… also easy to walk up to Seminyak or down to Kuta, or easy taxi around. It’s not fancy but not grubby either, just the comfortable middle spot. I’ve been twice, will be back again for a birthday party and will be back again other times too. My teenagers loved the place too, it’s a great vibe there.
Not much to fault as I’m not one with high expectations and I’m a pretty low maintenance person. I do read on social media that some people complain about the place being outdated, but so what! Yes while it’s not exactly modern it’s actually very very comfortable and laid back, this is Bali after all. If you want something more posh, go to boring Nusa Dua lol.
Best location to shops and beach.
Great variety for breakfast.
Spacious outdoor swimming pools.
Room was of good size, but very sad looking, needing updating.
Bathroom could definitely use an update with better storage.
Staff were all amazing, breakfast was great, pools and close to beach
Nothing, we liked everything
quiet
breakfast was not good
The staff at the pool, the pool area was great, warm water great options. Large pool, little shade but that’s standard
Our room was full of mould- we booked the delux room. When I tried to talk to reception staff regarding the mould and other concerns in our room we got told ‘it’s the delux room’… so we have to sleep it a very strong mould smell? With visible mould on walls. 4/5 of us got flu like symptoms with a terrible cough at the end of our stay which I am putting down to the mould. We were in Bali 15 nights this being our final accommodation out of 4.. by far the worst. I wouldn’t have left this review if some type of solution was offered when brought up with staff but it wasn’t. Two rooms, Room 422/420 - don’t stay in these rooms if they offer them to you! 422 being the worst
