Overall experience - 3 Stars. Location - 5 Stars.
Pros:

The location was unique and immaculate! We enjoyed the swimming pool and the room was spacious.

Cons:

The restaurant was poorly managed and the hotel being on a cliff, we had nowhere else to go.
The jacuzzi was not cleaned and hence we couldn’t use it.
For a 5 Star property, the overall experience was disappointing.

Spectacular views, spectacular pool, impeccably maintained.

Cons:

Perhaps the Elephant Passage is a victim of its own success, because the number of guests at breakfast was overwhelming…Would suggest food be replenished more frequently, so that those that don’t arrive super early can still get cut fruit, yogurt, etc. Omelettes were a good idea!

Cons:

I booked the room which was named Jacuzzi with valley view or something like that. The photos was misleading. We taught the jacuzzi was in the big space near the large window with the view but what we got had Jacuzzi but it was inside the bathroom.
So confirm with them before.

Pros:

Schöne, grosse Zimmer. Sehr gemütlich, bis auf eine Ausnahme (siehe negative Punkte). Das Personal ist sehr professionell und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Mein grösstes Problem war, dass immer ab ca. 17 Uhr bis 20 Uhr extrem laute Musik lief. Diese kommt von einem kleinen Stand neben dem Pool. Niemand scheint sich dafür zu interessieren, aber trotzdem läuft sie jeden Tag. Ich musste mir meine ANC Kopfhörer aufsetzen, damit ich etwas Ruhe habe. Das sollte in so einer Unterkunft, welches sich als Entspannungshotel vermarktet, nicht der Fall sein. Überlegt euch das wirklich noch einmal.

Die Qualität des Buffet schwankte etwas von Tag zu Tag. Einmal hatte ich Hünchen, welches verdorben schmeckte und ich musste die ganze Portion stehen lassen. An anderen Tagen war es aber hervorragend. Ich empfehle den Gästen aber beim vegetarischen Teil zu bleiben.

Wonderful stay and this beautiful property - great for unwinding from city madness.
Pros:

Beautiful property in the teahills. A great swimming pool, massive room with a fab balcony and an attached (but separate) spa pool / hot tub under neath the room. The staff were wonderful and the food was great - we ate there every night,

Cons:

The hot tub takes a good 45mins to fill - but thats a minor gripe.

Pros:

The views are great and the property is well maintained!

Cons:

Hot water did not work, shower knobs were stuck and not easy to switch shower heads, the food at the hotel was terrible (except some items on the breakfast) the taxis they arranged were dirty and old.
