Breakfast was good and it's close to the beach.
The receptionist was rude when checking in. There was dirty underwear and a hat left on the hanging rack on our porch area when we arrived and the receptionist said it was due to a wind storm. Which doesn't make any sense. There were cockroaches in our room and no wash cloths were provided. We didn't have power to the hotel when we arrived and a generator from an adjacent building was blaring. The receptionist didn't explain that the power was city wide he just said it will be on at 5 pm, then he said 7 pm, then it finally was on by 8:45 pm. After a day of driving to get to the hotel, it was frustrating. We overpaid for the room significantly. The hotel drops it's prices if no one books it. We paid $325 a night on Booking.com which was a complete rip off for the hotel and service we received. We checked the hotel website and the room was booking at $200 a night. We brought this up to the receptionist and after a long conversation they said we could talk to the owner the next day and he said we'd get a discount on smoothies even though we paid $125 a night more than we should have. Booking.com gave us a small credit which was appreciated. The owner never showed up the next day. We e-mailed the owner after our stay and he said that was their policy to drop their hotel prices and he wouldn't be providing a refund. I recommend not booking this place until the last minute.

very plain room with only one mirror in the bathroom, no hooks or place to put your clothes; leaking refrigerator and shower had standing water in it that never drained - the manager said was going to have shower floor fixed so would drain
