Very central and clean. We would definitely stay here again
Pros:

This is a perfect location for the beach, Cafes and Restaurants. The interior is very welcoming and peaceful. Definitely recommend this place to use as a stop over.

Cons:

Unfortunately we felt our parking was cramp due to staff parking behind us.

Clean motel rooms with pub next door
Pros:

Large double room with glass sliding doors and ensuite then a second large living/kitchenette with double glass doors so lots of space. Bed was comfy and kitchenette adequate for simple meals. Bar just across the parking area with good beers.

Cons:

Unfortunately the rubbish collection van arrived at 5.45am. not the hotels fault obviously but annoying.

Our stay was above what we expected and a pleasurable experience.
Pros:

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the central location to all restaurants and cafes.

Cons:

The complimentary bottle of drinking water was very much appreciated but staying four nights we could have done with more.

Needed a bit of a clean re floor etc and could have done with some privacy blinds on lounge windows to stop people looking in as the walk past

Great stay we'll be back, get a drop box 🤣
Pros:

Fantastic location, room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to relax. Great options for dining, the Butlers restaurant, cafes and takeaways.
Staff were polite and made checking in easy.

Cons:

When we wanted to check out, nothing was open, we couldn't find anyone to give the key to when we locked up and there was no drop box to leave the key. We went to New Plymouth for breakfast came back at 9.45 and saw one of the chefs, who we finally gave the key to. I received a msg to say they couldn't find the key so I explained what we did and all was good.

Pros:

I was over for a funeral. After a 6 hour drive, 8 hour funeral celebration, the bed was heaven and I slept for 9 hours!! So excellent
