Similan Hotel Zhuhai-Gongbei Port

Nice hotell.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. The beds are very comfortable. We like the location as it is walking distance to Zhuhai underground mall, rail train station and the customs to Macau.

As usual, Tony, gave us great service. He is very helpful - he helped arrange a function room for a dinner my family is hosting - My auntie was quite annoyed with one of the staff but Tony sensing the tensions building up, immediately took over the situation and managed to de-escalate the issue and solve our concerns. Tony went the extra mile to arrange transfers for us to and fro the airport, and when I realised I left a scarf in my room after checkout, he managed to arrange delivery of the scarf to my hotel in Xiamen.

My whole family are very pleased with Tony's excellent service - he makes our whole stay experience wonderful; he deserves an excellent customer service and experience award! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Staff were v helpful. Especially Tony; recommended and helped us make reservations for dinner and massage outside hotel.

Walkable distance to the customs to visit to Macau; ideal for day trip. Also near to highspeed rail.

Staff is very helpful

Fabulous bedroom with the best bed and most comfortable linen. wonderful. and the breakfast was wonderful. so much choice and very good hot coffee.....often hotels in China don't offer good coffee. the coffee at Similar was superb, and the evening offer 'drip' coffee in the bedrooms.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The chief concierge, Mr Tony Tian, was exceptionally warmth in welcoming us each time on our return to the hotel. Also, there was another lady who was cleaning up the pool of water in our room due to the burst water pipe in the middle of the day and helped us with the switch in room promptly. She worked so tirelessly to ensure us comfort during our stay there. Really grateful for that :)

It is also located near the customs and near the sea, hence, it is really convenient to travel about and the sea view was great. Food places were at reach due to its close proximity to the customs to Macau and Hong Kong. Would recommend for its value for money.

Nice comfortable room with fantastic large and bright bathroom. Nice view of the sea. Indoor pool was sparkling clean (although a bit small) and the washroom facilities were excellent; the gym had a good range of modern equipment. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner in both the Chinese and Thai restaurants and they were good quality and reasonable price. Hotel location is an easy walk from Zhuhai railway station and the Macau border crossing, and the beachfront is across the road (see photo)

We liked just about everything. The staff were very helpful at all times, the room we chose we loved. The bed was huge and very comfortable. There are three restaurants in the property. chinese,Thai, and a very good Italian style restaurant. The breakfast spread was just great with a very good variety of foods. There is an indoor swimming pool and gym. And even a self-service laundry room, which is a great thing.
Oh it even has room service robots to bring your food.
It's probably one of my favourite hotels that I have stayed with.
