Le jardin est magnifique, les chambres sont grandes, tout est très propre et le personnel est attentionné.

Exceptional breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs as ordered, toast and great coffee. Staff were very attentive to our requests. Very pleasant dining outside on the veranda.
The hotel is off the main road and the roads to it are dirt, ruddy and rough. Not great for taking a walk in the area.
Place is beautiful the surrounding and hotel itself is beautiful.
Breakfast was ok stay here if you want to relax and kind of cut off from the world it is the place.
NO WIFI the one they gave does not work. No backup generator in case electricity goes. Mobile phone coverage is also not good in that area. Staff hardly understand English.

Very peaceful lodging. Often the loudest noise was the chirping of birds. Fine views over the valley and, if you look up in the garden, weaverbird nests in the treetops.
The staff was very friendly and responsive to every request.

Gorgeous setting with flowers everywhere. It was like a botanical garden! We thought the homemade breakfast was the best we had on our road trip through Rwanda

The road to reach the hotel is an adventure! I would not advise arriving in the dark on the first visit.

Clean & peaceful, and a beautiful facility. Very friendly and welcoming staff. good and plenty food. Close to the ethnographic museum. And all at a moderate price. Best we had in Rwanda. And all at a moderate price!
Everything . It is clean, it is comfortable, the food is delicious. The facilities are perfect
Maybe a little far from town and the road not being the best if you don’t have a 4x4. Finally we took the other road( at the end of town toward Kigali) and walked 100 meters with the luggage .
And so sorry I was there only for one night.
The hotel is small with <10 rooms, gated, and centrally located in Butare. Checkin was smooth and dinner was started on soon after. The room was comfortable and the shower decently hot. There was a jet tub on the premises and both indoor and outdoor dining surrounded by a garden. The omelette, toast, and coffee breakfast was delicious. It was surprisingly relaxing, having a beer under the pavilion while working on the laptop.
WiFi had some issues, ended up switching to mobile hotspot. The receiptionist was also the manager as well as the chef :-D. He prepared a delicious salad but left the main course (stewed beef and greens) a little to be desired. I'm not disappointed, just found it a little funny and don't blame the guy.
Lovely helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, very nice clean room, lots of hot water. Good and interesting location, 10 mins walk from museum, another 5 mins to bus station
Internet was a bit inconsistent
The service was excellent, rooms clean and a great made to order breakfast that was included.
Road to the property is a rough dirt road and there is no lighting on the road at night. We suggest others check in before dark.
