Pros:

Close to metro. About 300 metres walk. Easy great location. Many shops around. Very helpful to have grocery departmental store just downstairs which sold everything we needed.

We went during Chinese New Year and it was SUPER QUIET as all the students went home. No one was on the roads. It was fabulous!

Didn't realise it was actually right in the University town. But now I see how helpful it was as there are shops, public transport easily. Even a teaching hospital right there.

Staff are super helpful and fast to solve problems. Housekeeping was good too.
Love the toiletries. Love the toothpaste!

They have everything you need including nail files, hair serum, hand creams, bandages, etc.

We had a vomit episode and the staff were so kind to change our rooms without issue.

There were 2 types of teas available at foyer. LOVE THE HOT TEAS. Really appreciate the hot herbal teas.

Love the buffet breakfast! Good hot Chinese food and some pastries.

They use robots to help send items which is interesting.

There was sitting area at reception with sofa and tables.

The beds were comfortable and we could select other types of pillows. There was a sofa and table too.

Nice to have windows for fresh air.

Cons:

There was some rotten egg smell near the lifts. The bins bear the lifts always full and looking bad.
The older male staff look so grumpy and gruff when they came to deliver towels.
It was hard to book DiDi during Chinese New Year as the area was a bit quiet.
Beds and room could have been bigger.

不错，早餐非常不错，入住体验很好，房间很大，洗澡很舒服，酒店在文萃广场里面，离苏州大学也很近，离西交利物浦更近，出行有地铁，打车也很方便，以后只住智选假日酒店，前台花花的服务也很赞！热情周到印象很深

I stayed here while studying at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the school, which made my daily commute a pleasure. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was quite substantial.

Way better than I expected!
Pros:

Great location, super convenient transportation, and it’s really close to the subway station. The breakfast has tons of options and everything is fresh. There are loads of coffee shops nearby, and the hotel has a free gym—total win for fitness fans!

Pros:

The hotel is Holidayinn Express under the InterContinental Group. The overall experience is very good. The front desk service staff is also very enthusiastic. They answered many of my questions and recommended some special delicacies and scenic spots in Suzhou to me. The breakfast is also very good, with Suzhou's special noodles. This is a very good trip for me.

Pros:

The location is ok, there is a metro nearby and a lot of cafes and shops where you can buy fruit.

Cons:

The breakfast was so-so. For a European tourist, it was rather meager. Not enough vegetables and fruits.
There is no refrigerator or safe in the room.
