Holyhead Ferrygoers - this could be your next stay
Pros:

I was catching the ferry at Holyhead the next morning and The Valley was a great place to stay that was close by, had ample parking, very pet-friendly (they'd set me up for breakfast in a pet-friendly area so I could bring my dog...which I didn't do, but great to know an option). Joshua, who served me at breakfast (cooked breakfast included) was fantastic. Thanks, Joshua! Spacious, tidy rooms.

Cons:

No elevator, which was fine. Just an essential for a heavy packer like me. It was not obvious which door to enter the property for reception and one door was locked / closed off. Easily fixed with a clear Reception sign on door.

Relaxing once I was able to change rooms
Pros:

Service was very good, wifi was quick and a smooth connection the whole time. Food in the restaurant was above average as well. Check in and out was quick, easy and simple and it's in a very central location.

Cons:

The first room I stayed in has a very loud noise, apparently from the fan in the cellar. I wouldn't recommend staying in rooms 14-16 as they seem to be right above that area. They were very good at letting me change rooms and after that things improved a lot.

Won’t be staying again.
Pros:

Rooms were clean.

Cons:

The waiting on staff in the restaurant were awful. Scruffy and moody. It was my mums 85th birthday and they hadn’t put the balloons on the table. Food was coming late at different times. Sides were missed off. The birthday cake was brought out when family members were not at the table. The feeling I got was that we were an inconvenience.
