kānusuba zamami

Kanusuba was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of suitcase and storage space.

We had a wonderful chef's taster menu which was an event in itself.

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Kana and all the staff made us feel so welcome. The facility was also fantastic, very good energy and equipped with comfortable beds, pillows, and amenities are of high quality. Courtesy coffee was very good.

Chambre individuelle avec salle de bain et équipements (bouilloire, machine à café personnelle avec grains à moudre, frigo), salle de bain équipée (sèche cheveux, linge, produits…), lit plus grands que la moyenne testée jusqu’ici au Japon. Deux lits individuels.
Chaussons supers confortables, pyjamas.
Petit déjeuner traditionnel délicieux et apprécié (9 petites spécialités japonaises et d’Okinawa).
Service de navette pour les plages d’Ama Beach et Furuzamami. Supers conseils et prêt de matériel de snorkelling ainsi que des serviettes.
Honnêteté du personnel appréciée : ils ne renvoient pas payer des excursions pour du snorkelling avec le prêt et la navette inclus dans le prix de l’hôtel.
Ils préviennent de ne pas payer d’excursion baleines car ce n’est plus la saison.
Ils donnent les bons conseils et infos.

On a pris l’option dîner (coûteux mais 11 plats et délicieux, originaux et traditionnels, de nouvelles saveurs). Je recommande.

Bonus : douches accessibles à l’extérieur pour se laver après la journée et avant de reprendre le bateau pour Okinawa.

This stay was one of the most memorable, most amazing experiences I've had in my life. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, they picked us up from the port and it was a short ride to the stay. There are only 5 rooms so there is a feeling of community you wouldn't get in a large hotel resort. There was almost a 1:1 ratio from guest to staff, which was astounding. They really went above and beyond to cater to all our needs and even offered a car service to 2 beaches closeby and were super flexible regarding the times for pick-up and drop-off. The dinner was one of the best meals I've had in Japan. It was full of umami flavour, rich and deep and comforting, Japanese / Okinawan sourced ingredients fused with European influences and every course was simply delicious. Breakfast was amazing as well and you could choose the time for which you could eat it. The room is spacious, modern and bright - the bathroom is amazing and the bed is comfortable. I definitely will be back!

I had dinner, not included in the price, and breakfast that was included. The quality of both meals were outstanding. Maybe even worth the trip to Zamami just for that experience.

The breakfast was delicious. I'm vegetarian and have a gluten allergy so they catered to my needs with a wonderful breakfast.

Front desk was very helpful in giving us advice and helping us arrange dinner reservations. Food was good. It was handy to be picked up from the ferry.
