Super super clean, comfy bed and a lovely terrace.
Unfortunately, there was a failure in the water supply (outside their control), so there was no water for a shower. Certainly no reflection on "Wendy".
Un 10 todo. Sobre todo quiero destacar la mujer que está allí, ultra amable, detallista, atenta...¡y hasta nos ayudaron con las maletas! El desayuno inmejorable y encima, al lado de la catedral y palacio. Perfecto para la visita a Astorga

The property was very nice and well kept and operated like a bed and breakfast. It was incredibly quaint, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the owner provided water, milk, and pastries in the kitchen. They also allowed us to use the refrigerator to store some food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond. They did not speak much English but I got to practice my Spanish speaking skills and we made use of Google Translate. Everything in town was in walking distance and parking was available for free on the street out front or around the corner. I would highly recommend El Descanso de Wendy for anyone visiting Astorga.
The room was a little tight for our family of 4, but this is better than you get most places in Europe!

Que no tiene ascensor.
La ubicación para visitar Astorga está genial, justo al lado del palacio de Gaudí y de la catedral, con acceso fácil a la zona de restaurantes, bares y comercios. La habitación excepcional y el desayuno muy bueno. Nos gustó todo en general.

La limpieza y la comodidad del colchón.
El horario de desayuno ofreciendo entrada solo entre 08:30 y 09:15.
Cuando le comentamos que era temprano se vieron extrañados y la propuesta fue que bajásemos por turnos para que alguno se quedase con la niña..en este mensaje (entiendo que sin querer) la están excluyendo cuando ella también necesita desayunar y los tres somos los alojados.
Al final nos adaptamos nosotros porque no hubo más opción.
Una hora antes del check out fueron a la habitación a recoger toallas sucias y eso también nos pareció invasivo y que comprometía a irse antes.
Destacar también que no tiene ascensor, con lo cual la accesibilidad es nula de cara a sillas de ruedas o carritos y con espacio estrecho en caso de movilidad reducida.

Se nota el cuidado y la atención de la propietaria. La habitación muy grande, era la suite. El baño también. La ducha funcionaba fenomenal. Ubicación excelente, cerca de todo pero en calle tranquila. La dueña muy agradable, hace un revuelto para el desayuno por el detalle de dar algo caliente y eso tiene su valor. Un puntazo también la cocina y terraza común donde siempre hay algo de comida y bebida cortesía de la casa
Se oye mucho el agua correr por las tuberías cuando la usan en otra habitación. No hay ascensor, aunque solo era un segundo piso pero íbamos bien cargados de equipaje
La ubicación, la habitación con cama muy cómoda,, buen desayuno y personal amable. Espacio de aparcamiento en la calle justo delante.
