Room was a bit small
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room.
Location is good, an easy drive into Cardiff, we went to Bridgend and the Brecon Beacons. Comfortable room, you have the pub and parking. Was quiet.
Last time we stayed, we was upstairs and those rooms seemed quite a bit more spacious.

Clean beddings and clean towels. Staff quite friendly. Easy to park and it was free.
Bathroom was quite small and smelly. Water from the shower was so slow. Not enough room space for 3 adults for sleeping and moving. The carpets smelled damp and dusty. 3 of us had an uncomfortable sleep for one night. We could hear the upstairs room people’s phone ringing sound the whole night.
Clean and modern
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, we also used the outside courtyard for breakfast. Clean room. We caught the bus into town which was very easy. We also had 2 great dinners in the restaurant. Delicious

The bathroom was quite humid and our towels stayed damp over the 2 nights we were there. It would have been good if the towel rack had turned on.
The room is small but spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was also immaculate with large absorbent towels. The gift of Welsh cakes was much appreciated. It was very easy to catch a bus into the city as the bus stop was just across the road. There was plenty of free parking and the gastro-pub meals were excellent. This place is excellent value.
We had to wrangle the shower taps a bit as we aren’t familiar with that type but that was a very minor inconvenience which we soon resolved.
Stayed here a number of times and the property, staff and bar/restaurant are excellent.

Spotless and well appointed rooms, clearly maintained by hosts wanting the best guest experience. Lovely little touch of home made Welsh cakes in the room.
Gastro pub food was great and the service excellent. Far better than a hotel stay.
What really made it was the staff and landlord. Quality restaurant presentation and service.
All in all great value given the high quality of rooms, service and food.
