Clean and tidy, small room but fine. Very comfy bed. Windows that open (hurrah!) plus a fan - excellent. Great food and drink in the bar, friendly staff.
Surprised that there was no breakfast available which, when questioned, was confirmed as not available. But then saw that other guests were able to have a breakfast package delivered. Odd for a guest house to not supply a breakfast, it would be better to stress this on the booking details so that guests are not disappointed. WiFi didn’t work during the night.

Great staff. Very clean room and fantastic pub attached with very good food.
Room was a little small.
The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The shower room was very modern.
It is situated off the main road, very easy to find. Parking available in the pub carpark.
The pub is right next door and the food was excellent.
Although we booked in for parking, the pub was very busy and it was quite hard to find a space.
Our room was right next to the pub garden, it was quite noisy until the pub closed.
Also there are 2 other pubs in the area, so got a bit of noise from them too.
Lovely place, staff very friendly, I had requested a slightly earlier check in due to my commitments in the day as I wouldn’t have been able to arrive during check in hours and was obliged which was so helpful and appreciative. Room was really lovely and clean and beautifully presented.
The only gripe I have with the room comfort was the bed which is the most important I guess, whilst some may not have a problem I found it extremely uncomfortable due to the mattress topper having two large body shaped dents in it, I just could not get comfortable, I tried repositioning in the middle but very quickly was sliding down one side or the other. Noisy drinkers in the pub courtyard below finally left about 12.30am (I hadn’t considered this on booking but also wasn’t aware of the layout), the seagulls moved in at 4.30am not much can be done about that I know but I gave up on sleep at 5.30 and had checked out by 7am 🤷🏻♀️

Friendly and helpful staff, cosy and comfortable room that had everything I needed. Great location for getting into Cardiff. It was a hot day in the heatwave, the room has no air on but I was perfectly comfortable with the big fan that was provided and I had a great night’s sleep.

The free car parking was a big bonus for us! The room was decorated lovely with complimentary tea/drinks and even Welsh cakes!
What could have been useful would have been a mini fridge, but I understand this is not always a given facility in most hotels. The weekend we stopped was very hot, so a fridge would of been good to have stored drinks/snacks to avoid them going warm or melting.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Rooms were clean and well decorated. Location was excellent for us.
The room key didn’t work. The lighting was poor in the bedroom. The room was small.
Friendly staff, location within 15 minute drive of the city centre, spotless cool room with a fan, perfect in the heatwave. Staff went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable. The food in the evening was top notch and the breakfast hamper as an optional extra, made our stay even more special.
Great room. Good pub. Good food.
