Pros:

Great hotel on the water and close to the centro. Big rooms, good restaurant, good internet, good staff. Highly recommend.

Muy mala relación calidad precio
Pros:

La ubicación y el acceso directo a la laguna.

Cons:

No ofrecían secador, acondicionador o crema hidratante, tampoco toalla para el pelo y la televisión no funcionaba. Por la tarde la musica del bar estaba muy alta y el día que llegamos nos dijeron que la cocina ya estaba cerrada, eran las 13:35 y supuestamente estaba abierto hasta las 14h. La relación calidad precio me parece que no es nada correcta, los servicios que ofrecen no están a la altura de un hotel con estos precios.

Ubicación ideal
Pros:

La ubicación es espectacular, está a pie de laguna y a un paseo de unos 15 minutos del pueblo. Muy cómodo que tenga embarcadero y puedas empezar y acabar desde ahí las excursiones.

Cons:

El desayuno es muy sencillo y te dan poca cantidad. El personal del desayuno está un poco despistado. A la habitación, por el precio que tiene, le falta cosas como toallas extras para el pelo y champú y acondicionador. Las tumbonas están bastante viejas.

Great location but please fix the coffee!
Pros:

The location is fabulous, so calm in the mornings, with the lagoon changing during the day. Great for swimming, overwater hammocks and loungers cool, nice eating area, plants. Very clean. Breakfast and lunch good. Staff pleasant.

Cons:

While clean and comfortable, the room was dark, but apart from sleeping I spent most of the time outside. The coffee at breakfast is awful (instant?) and lets the place down. You can order espressos/cappuccinos at extra cost, but decent filter coffee included should be the minimum. It would be nice if they had kayaks for a short local paddle. It doesn’t seem like they pay attention to feedback as lots of people have mentioned the coffee and kayaks. There’s no evidence of a manager/owner on site.

Pros:

Placering med udsigt til Bacalar lagunen fra restaurant og liggestole. Virkelig god stemning i restaurant og bar - meget smilende personale og lækker mad. Mulighed for bådtur fra hotellet

Cons:

Værelset var lidt trist indrettet og meget mørkt. Men der var rent og der var det man skulle bruge. Der var ikke engang en føntørrer

Lovely place to unwind in Bacalar
Pros:

I loved the location directly at the lagoon and the beautiful view
It was tranquil and very relaxing to spend a day just sitting at the deck looking out onto the water
Nicely decorated room
That they accommodated me with an other room since the first 2 had mold

Cons:

That they have 2 different breakfast menues- and I only learned about that on the last day, when I found different food presentation.

Ok but overpriced stay in Bacalar
Pros:

Location is good. The staff was friendly. Room was clean. The facility is quite and good place for relaxing. We liked sundeck and terrace area next to the lagoon. Breakfast was ok but very few options to select.

Cons:

We booked a family room with seaview but pictures are misleading. We got the ground floor which view was blocked by resturant building. Amenities is sufficient but could be improved. No coffee/tea machine in the room. Only one liquid soap for both hair and body. Finally, price wise it was expensive for the value.

Kleine, saubere Hotelanlage direkt am See. Freundliches Personal, das aber leider im Service Bereich nur sehr schlecht bzw. kein Englisch spricht. Im Hotel selbst gibt es kein Abendessen, es gibt aber fußläufig Restaurants. Das Frühstück war i.O.

Fabulous setting on the lake and a new property with beautifully finished rooms and a nice outsude deck for breakfast

Quite expensice especially with lake view rooms. But worth it for a special occasion and for couples.
