Echt een (verborgen) parel in Bacalar!
Pros:

Het uitzicht, de kamers, kwaliteit van het restaurant en de perfecte locatie! Het ligt vrijwel naast het ‘deck’ en op loopafstand van het centrum, wat ook s’nachts heel veilig is en voelt! Het personeel was allemaal super vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Vooral Vanessa en Hannah hebben ons verblijf echt een extra ‘touch’ gegeven!

Cons:

We hadden op een bepaald moment geen water in de badkamer (douche etc). Ze kwamen echter direct met een oplossing en binnen no time werd dit gemaakt, super fijn!

Bacalari is close to everything, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Very lovely hotel. We enjoyed relaxing by the small pool and looking out over the lagoon. We watched the Sunrise both mornings by walking a short distance to the wooden walkways that go over the mangrove.

Pros:

Our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the stunning Bacalar Lagoon and cozy local cafés and restaurants.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or arranging activities.

Bel hôtel pour séjour en amoureux
Pros:

La décoration est très soignée. La propreté irréprochable. Très grand lit très confortable.
L’emplacement est idéal et on peut garer la voiture sur le parking devant le restaurant de l’hôtel.

Cons:

Personnel très sympathique mais globalement pas très réactif. Notamment au petit déjeuner l’attente de nos plats a été trop longue…

Pros:

Bel hôtel à 15min à pied de la place centrale, en face de eco park de bacalar. Très belle chambre avec terrasse et piscine privative vue sur la lagune. Un restaurant est présent. Quelques places de parking devant l'hôtel bien appreciable..

Cons:

Peut-être la musique en fin de soirée un peu forte.

Un excellent hôtel pour un séjour à Bacalar
Pros:

Tout! Personnel adorable et vraiment aidants.
Chambre spacieuse, propre, et très bien équipée.
L’hôtel est à taille humain et est très joli.

Cons:

Le restaurant est bon mais un peu cher, le service n’est pas forcément très bon.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Great location, lovey staff. Beautiful hotel. Overall we loved our stay.

Cons:

The power kept cutting out but not the fault of the hotel. A little noisy in the mornings being so close to reception. Also would have loved bike rental from the hotel. But all small things!

Specular stay, with stunning views, great facilities (in bar and restaurant)
Pros:

Property is lovey. Really special and well curated. The room was perfect and cleaned everyday, we had our own balcony with a cold plunge pool that overlooked the laguna. Restaurant was nice and so was the bar. Great pool area

Cons:

Breakfast maybe a little underwhelming, but the lunches and dinners were great. Everything else was fantastic, the only small point to flag was that all the lights were controlled from a switch by the door, meaning we had to get up to turn the lights off from bed.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel doté de charme et paisible. Il y fait bon vivre.

-Le bain individuel sur notre terrasse avec vue sur la lagune
-Le bureau d’excursion et la blanchisserie
Je donne un 10/10 au cuisinier ou cuisinière de l’hôtel car la nourriture est divinement bonne ( du petit déjeuner au dîner).

Wasn't what we expected
Pros:

The hotel is really nice and both decor, facilities and staff is good. Location is very neat and close to the lake.

Cons:

We were unpleasantly surprised on Sunday afternoon by the "pool party" hosted just outside our window. We had the room with private pool, roof top terrace and lake view. The party featured a DJ playing techno-like music at very high volumes for the four people at the shared pool that day. It gave off the hostel vibes that we had hoped to avoid at a high cost, adults-only hotel. It was incredibly loud (even after it was turned down a little) and lasted from 3 pm to 7 pm which meant that we have to leave the hotel to have a conversation as we simply couldn't hear each other neither inside the room or outside on our terrace. The music wasn't advertised anywhere and we were subsequently told that it is every Sunday and Wednesday. Had we known, we would have booked a calmer, non-party hotel.
