Pros:

We felt very comfortable at Bacalari. All the staff are credits to their professions. They were incredibly helpful from booking tours to help to find an emergency dentist. Their breakfast is really nice. I also have had a very welcome massage. We highly recommend this place.

It was delightful :)
Pros:

The property was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful even with the language barriers. It is less than 100m to the public pier where you can swim and see the sunrise. It is also just next to the ecological park where you can see the resident crocodile and many birds like parrots and vultures. It is a 10 min walk to town. It is also as represented in the pictures.

Cons:

It met our expectations based on the pictures and the what was advertised by the property :)

Hôtel charmant proche du centre de Bacalar
Pros:

Petit hôtel très typique et bien placé (à 10 minutes à pied de la place principale).
Le personnel est sympathique et souriant.
Bon petit déjeuner.
Jolie chambre.
Quelques places de parking devant l’hôtel.

Cons:

Un peu éloigné des beaux lieux de baignade qui se trouvent du côté des beach club.
La piscine est un peu petite et elle n’était pas très propre à notre arrivée. Cadre agréable quand même.
Un peu cher pour une chambre pour 4 pour 3 nuits (630€).

Echt een (verborgen) parel in Bacalar!
Pros:

Het uitzicht, de kamers, kwaliteit van het restaurant en de perfecte locatie! Het ligt vrijwel naast het ‘deck’ en op loopafstand van het centrum, wat ook s’nachts heel veilig is en voelt! Het personeel was allemaal super vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Vooral Vanessa en Hannah hebben ons verblijf echt een extra ‘touch’ gegeven!

Cons:

We hadden op een bepaald moment geen water in de badkamer (douche etc). Ze kwamen echter direct met een oplossing en binnen no time werd dit gemaakt, super fijn!

Bacalari is close to everything, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Very lovely hotel. We enjoyed relaxing by the small pool and looking out over the lagoon. We watched the Sunrise both mornings by walking a short distance to the wooden walkways that go over the mangrove.

Pros:

Our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the stunning Bacalar Lagoon and cozy local cafés and restaurants.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or arranging activities.

Bel hôtel pour séjour en amoureux
Pros:

La décoration est très soignée. La propreté irréprochable. Très grand lit très confortable.
L’emplacement est idéal et on peut garer la voiture sur le parking devant le restaurant de l’hôtel.

Cons:

Personnel très sympathique mais globalement pas très réactif. Notamment au petit déjeuner l’attente de nos plats a été trop longue…
