The Capital Zimbali werden wir nicht mehr buchen
Pros:

Wir waren jetzt 3 Jahre in Folge jeweils 1-2 Wochen in dieser Hotelanlage.
Positiv: Das Gesamtresort mit fantastischem Golfplatz hat alle Voraussetzungen für einen perfekten Urlaub. Großes, sauberes Luxury Zimmer mit Meerblick. Der Service hat sich allerdings von Jahr zu Jahr verschlechtert. Das trifft nicht für das Abendessen zu: Der Kellner Service beim Dinner ist im Gegensatz zum Frühstück hervorragend!

Negativ:
1.Zimmerbuchung 6 Monate vorher für 8 Tage war nicht möglich, weil Tag 5 von der Rezeption geblockt war (angeblich für eine große Gruppe reserviert). Wir konnten deshalb nur die ersten 4 und die letzten 3 Tage buchen. Erst ca. 3 Wochen vor unserer Anreise war plötzlich auch Tag 5 buchbar. Darüber wurden wir aber nicht informiert! Haben wir selbst herausgefunden und nachgebucht.
Die Rezeption war dennoch nicht in der Lage, die nun vorliegenden drei Buchungen für die ersten 4 Tage, den nachgebuchten Tag und die letzten 3 Tage zusammenzufassen zu 8 Tagen durchgehend in ein und demselben Zimmer. Man wollte uns zwingen, zweimal umzuziehen! Erst durch nachhaltiges Drängen konnten wir das verhindern.
2. Service beim Frühstück katastrophal. Sehr sehr viel Personal, das aber mehr mit sich selbst beschäftigt ist, oder eine einzelne Tasse auf dem Tablett durch den Saal balanciert, daher nicht ansprechbar ist. Zwei „Aufpasser“, die offensichtlich den Frühstücksservice managen sollen, lächeln freundlich und sind meistens jedoch nur mit ihrem Handy beschäftigt. Selten greift einer mal zu; dafür springen jede Menge Kinder im Vorschulalter zwischen dem Buffet herum und greifen auch mit den Fingern rein. Da müssten diese „Manager“ mal Ordnung reinbringen.
(Das Buffet selbst ist abwechslungsreich, und die frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen sind sehr gut).
3. Zimmerservice: benutzte Handtücher und Waschlappen werden täglich entfernt, aber des Öfteren nicht komplett ersetzt.
Der große Balkon war verdreckt durch Exkremente von Vögeln und Affen, wurde aber erst nach 3 Tagen gesäubert, dann nicht mehr.
Fazit: Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen!

Disappointing despite the beautiful sea view. I would not really recommend this to anyone looking for a quality stay

The location of this hotel in Zimbali estate could not have been more perfect

Cons:

The hotel is run down and shabby and the v pool area was very disappointing. Our room was particularly dreary and the service was pretty poor
