Dusty, dim, cracked windows, door doesn’t close or lock, safe not bolted in, shower head holder, shower area no curtain, noisy traffic into the nights, some windows no curtain and cars headlight enters the room like strobe lights, no countertop in the bathroom

The restaurant needs to operate for longer at night. Unfortunately the popularity of the hotels interior means that there is a constant stream of tik tok influencers affecting the atmosphere. They have a big impact on the feeling of the hotel and I wouldn’t stay again for this reason.

The breakfast was a little strange. It would be nice to have more options that aren't western chicken, fish, etc that are more lunch/dinner appropriate. Tasted fine but wasn't what we wanted for breakfast.

The shower overflowed within 30 seconds all over the bathroom floor. In order to use the shower, the dial had to be almost off (making us have little water pressure). The water didn’t heat up at all, so we had a cold shower (we tried both knobs and waiting a long time for it to warm up).
There were no curtains or blinds in the bathroom which went right into the bedroom. There was a bright spotlight from outside pointing into the room all night and without the blinds, the room wasn’t dark and we didn’t sleep.
The bathroom and bedroom didn’t have more than a thin curtain separating the two (luckily we are married, but wouldn’t make staying there for friends, new couples, colleagues or people dating comfortable at all).
The air conditioning blew directly at the bed with no options for the fan (either off or on) forcing us to either freeze or overheat overnight (we chose the freeze).
The room came with breakfast. It wasnt to our liking but putting personal opinions aside, the food was cold when it arrived. After bad coffee, no choice to take a smaller meal causing us to waste lots of food, and cold veggies/gravy eggs covered in oil, we decided to eat the toast and get breakfast elsewhere.
Overall not a great experience. Just a spot for influencers to take content.

This was our honeymoon and our 5th hotel of our trip, and we really wanted to make the final stop special. None of our hotels were a bad experience, but this sadly wasn’t great.

The windows are not sound proof so u hear a bit of the car sound but it added to the charm of the accommodation and since our bathroom did not have shower cubicle After the shower the whole floor would be wet

The rooms fell short in many ways and therefore the hotel service just couldn't bridge that gap especially with the appearance that there was overall a lack of management (but the staff really really tried).
Bathrooms just needed a little bit more - a shelf or some storage space at the vanity, bathmats that aren't fraying at the seams, cleaned up edges, a pair of robe hooks, a better shower.
The room could do with a full length mirror, more secure safety box, the lack of a minibar or even a room service menu (with food being a highlight in this property), better storage for clothes & maybe a luggage rack?
The hotel didn't have an adaptor for our chargers (and I'd forgotten my travel adaptor), they didn't have a spare charger that worked & the hotel plug points weren't all secure in the bedroom walls.
I knew I needed a softer pillow, but after the adaptor questions, I didn't even bother to ask if they had other options. You just sort of understood what they could & couldn't do within half a day.
The shabby chic industrial interiors just couldn't cover the gaps it needs a little fine tuning & finishing - it just feels like a haunted house.
It's the sort of place you'd therefore stay in just once for the experience & not again. It reminded me why it's always safer to stay in the bigger hotels & it's just not good enough to sacrifice location....
Definitely not a family hotel - it's more suited for couples with the door-less bathrooms.
The light coming into the rooms in the early morning hours is quite severe, & the staff will chase you for the second half of your day to give your breakfast order for the following morning.....
If it was cheaper, I wouldn't have questioned the shortfalls as much, but for very little more we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel in the best part of town and had the comforts and basic amenities. It's a question of value.

It was a touch rulsey I guess.. breakfast had to be ordered the night before and opened quite late for an early riser.. most options were like a lunch or diner meal for us. The basics were lovely and a lot of it, fruit, toast, eggs, coffee etc.
Also the whole one key thing, it’s hot, really hot, so we left ours in the room to keep aircon on but had to get desk guy to let us in every time, it was fine but we felt annoying to him.
Glass wall to bathroom let a lot of light in at night, we hung towels along it.
We were in room with balcony which was noisy as it’s on the Main Street but it didn’t bother us.
