Such a beautiful place to stay. It's more of a homely feel than anything else. Going outside and sitting by the lake was a definite highlight for us. Will definitely stay again!

Nothing everything was great
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
We paid for breakfast for three days. On the third day we were refused breakfast. They said we hadnt paid. I had to show my bank payment, which is not very proffesional of them.
Restaurant good with lovely staff. Rooms were good and all in all a reasonable place to stay.
Vehicles delivering to the kitchen from 4am was obtrusive as right below our window. Once you were aware of activity at that time of the morning it is difficult to get back to sleep
Liked the big car park. Outside building looks interesting with character. The photos on website was the reason we booked
Cleanliness ofroom was poor cobwebs on ceiling, heavily soiled mattress protector covered by clean sheets.
Lack of attention to detail,room no heating ,had to ask for a heater,worn carpet due to carpet moths ,low water pressure, scratched paintwork all put together not a great stay.

The location was very close to the function we were attending.
The staff were all very helpful and food was excellent.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived with our two labradors. Our room was conveniently situated on the ground floor, it was spacious, clean and well equipped, even supplying bowls and beds for our dogs (though admittedly slightly two small for our big girls!). We were very happy with the restaurant, we had two breakfasts which were very high quality and an equally good lunch. We will definitely book again when visiting relatives in the vicinity.
The only slight gripe is that the hot buffet breakfast had gone rather cold, even though we were first down for breakfast.
