Important information:

Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance using the contact details on the booking confirmation.

Guests using a GPS navigation system should enter Buttermarkt 14 as their destination.

Parking is available at "Heumarkt" public car park, 328 feet from the property. EUR 32 per 24 hours will be charged. This public car park does not offer any benefits for hotel guests.

Please note that the hotel currently does not offer breakfast. Within a radius of 820 ft there are numerous possibilities for breakfast.

Prepaid bookings with arrivals after 6pm will receive a self check-in code.

The hotel can be reached by phone daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The reception is not permanently staffed.

For pre-paid bookings only: From Sunday to Thursday check-in after 6:00 pm takes place via a key box / self check in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Pros:

Gute Lage am Heumarkt (Wohnung ist nicht beim Hotel am Rhein!)
Große Schlafzimmer
Boiler funktioniert, Warmwasser ist daher möglich

Cons:

1) Das ganze Treppenhaus und die Wohnung stinken nach Moder/Schimmel/nassem Keller trotz offenen Fenster im Treppenhaus.

Die Fenster müssen offenbleiben (was sie beim Einzug auch sind), um es auszuhalten, was bei 5-9 Grad nachts sehr kalt war, insbesondere da es nur sehr dünne Decken gibt.

Die Außenwand des Hauses hat Stockflecken vom Schimmel (lt. Vermieter nur Schmutz). Darauf angesprochen reagiert der Vermieter sehr unfreundlich und streitet alles ab. Der muffige Geruch (kein Essensgeruch) käme angeblich vom Restaurant und sei "für Großstädte normal"....wir kommen aus einer Großstadt und dort hat es noch nirgends so gestunken. Auch in keinem Hotel/Ferienwohnung, in der ich je war....

Andere Gäste sagten beim Betreten "Müssen wir da jetzt echt rein?" Die unten fragten "Was ist das für ein ekliger Geruch?"

2) Alles ist kaputt (sh Bilder, hier nur 4 möglich), diverse Fliesen an der Türschwelle im Bad gebrochen/fehlend, Steckdosen am Bett ohne Abdeckung, zerkratztes Waschbecken, eklige Flecken an den Wänden überm Bett, Schranktüren haben Flecken, Ecken sind abgeplatzt, Heizung im Bad mit grünen Farb?-Flecken bespritzt, An der Wohnungstür sind diverse nicht verputzte offene Metall-Kästen, der innere Türrahmen am Schloss ist stark beschädigt, Handtuchhalter im Bad ist abgebrochen/nur halb vorhanden

3) Der Kühlschrank ist völlig vereist und nicht nutzbar. Wasser für den verkalkten Wasserkocher gibt es nur in der Dusche ("Küchenzeile" hat kein Wasser und Waschbecken im Bad zu niedrig).

4) Klo mit Dusche ist viel zu klein für 5-7 Personen. Tür kann nicht abgeschlossen werden. Man kann kaum drin stehen, geschweige denn sich umziehen.

5) Fenster sind alt und man hört draußen alles, auch wenn man sich traut sie kurz zu schließen, um sich aufzuwärmen. Draußen sehr laut, da direkt neben einer beliebten Kneipen-Gasse

6) Möbel sind veraltet, Spiegel hängt schief. Das alleine hätte uns nicht gestört.

Pros:

Great location and river views. Everything was very clean and the room was quite comfy. The receptionist was polite and helpful. Close to the train station, shops, bars and restaurants.

Gute Zeit verbracht.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war leider ein bisschen kalt und ich musste den Heizkörper auf eine wärmere Temperatur stellen. Ein neues Handtuch, obwohl es gereinigt worden war, hatte immer noch braun/rote Flecken.
Die Position des Hotels unmittelbar vor dem Rhein war sehr gut and es hatte einen schönen altmodischen Karakter.

Voor ons kort verblijf was de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed.
Pros:

De reacties van het hotel waren zeer snel en zeer medewerkend. Ze deden echt hun best. De locatie in de Altstadt is heerlijk. Parking op 150m is ok. Wel 32€ voor 24 u.

Cons:

Een waterkoker ( met koffie of the) en een flesje water op de kamer zou aangenaam zijn.

Immer wieder gerne!
Pros:

Netter Empfang, musste das Zimmer erst um 11 Uhr verlassen. Alles sauber. Habe gut geschlafen. Das Einzelzimmer im 3.OG (leider ohne Aufzug) hat nur 93 Euro gekostet. Perfekte Lage direkt auf der Rheinpromenade in der Altstadt. mmer wieder gerne!

Zimmer im 3. OG ohne Aufzug.
