Important information:

Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance using the contact details on the booking confirmation.

Guests using a GPS navigation system should enter Buttermarkt 14 as their destination.

Parking is available at "Heumarkt" public car park, 328 feet from the property. EUR 32 per 24 hours will be charged. This public car park does not offer any benefits for hotel guests.

Please note that the hotel currently does not offer breakfast. Within a radius of 820 ft there are numerous possibilities for breakfast.

Prepaid bookings with arrivals after 6pm will receive a self check-in code.

The hotel can be reached by phone daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The reception is not permanently staffed.

For pre-paid bookings only: From Sunday to Thursday check-in after 6:00 pm takes place via a key box / self check in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Schnuckeliges Hotel direkt am Rhein
Pros:

Das Hotel Hayk ist ein kleines, schnuckeliges Hotel,, was familiär geführt wird.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben sehr gelacht über die Namensgleichheit von uns zum Hotel....
Auch die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut. Bett bequem, Bad renoviert und alles sauber!
Die Lage ist auch gut, direkt am Rhein und super schnell in der Stadt und direkt auch am Heumarkt! 👍🏻
Sehr gerne wieder....

Hôtel où tout est bien, voire très bien , sauf le service !
Pros:

Emplacement = top !
Chambre = propre, spacieuse, très belle vue
Petit déjeuner : l'établissement n'en propose pas, pourtant, il est classé 3 étoiles.

Cons:

Le personnel : quasiment jamais présent, peu accueillant, peu à l'écoute des besoins des clients, très "business-like". Mais cela semble correspondre aux nouveaux standards : le client n'a que s'adapter à un service quasiment pas proposé. Cela semble bien être un impact de la "déferlante airbnb" : impersonnel, stricte minimum, peu ouvert aux besoins des clients.
Or, quelqu'un qui réserve dans un hôtel attend autre chose !

Pros:

A historic old building. Well located for restaurants and public transport.

Cons:

Our room was on the third floor and there is no lift. This didn't worry us, but it might if you have a lot of luggage or reduced mobility. With no air con, our room was extremely warm during a heatwave! At least a fan was provided. The shower was a bit hit and miss in terms of temperature and pressure. One small window meant that there wasn't much daylight in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities. On the whole, I don't think that we got very good value for money.

Cons:

Property was at all as advertised on Booking.com.

Once your booking is confirmed and paid you receive an email saying that there is minimal kitchen facilities and that none of the rooms actually have a river view, despite this being a feature photo on the booking site.

No communal living area, was ok and made it work but not at all as advertised.
