Endroit situé près de la gare et de la cathédrale, très propre et accueillant.
Pros:

Bien situé, l'accueil du propriétaire était excellente , déjeuner à notre goût avec du bon café. La propreté des lieux.

Cons:

Pas d'air climatisé par temps chaud on doit ouvrir les fenêtres et la rue est très bruyante. Par temps plus frais on ferme les fenêtres et la chambre sera très insonorisé. La Chambre est très belle, bien décoré, la seule chose le matelas n'a pas été à notre goût.

It was brilliant, I would stay there again

It was super close to the main train station and the cathedral. The room was equipped with ear plugs which helped if the road noise was too loud.

Ich werde, wenn ich wieder in Köln bin, wenn immer möglich im Hotel Sandmanns übernachten.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ganz in der Nähe von Dom und Bahnhof mitten in der Stadt. Eine sehr gute Lage! Das Hotel ist relativ klein, die Leute, die es führen, sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Einzig die Lage überzeugt

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Bahnhof/ Dom

Cons:

Die Fotos vom Hotel wirken deutlich schöner, als es innen tatsächlich aussieht. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, zwar sauber, aber für den Preis hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Der Aufzug ist nichts für schwache Nerven, zwei Personen passen gerade so hinein.
Wir hatten einen Balkon zum Hinterhof, den Ausblick kann man sich sparen.
Das Frühstück für 15 € haben wir nicht genommen, da der Raum nicht besonders einladend wirkte.

Good location, suited me as a single traveller, clean, friendly staff, decent value for short stay
Pros:

Location was good, close to train station although to be fair, most places are within comfortable walking distance.

Cons:

Depending on the room location, the church bells peel regularly and loudly 6-8 am! And the Internet was a bit iffy.

Nettes Personal. Tolle Lage. Sehr klein aber für eine Nacht in Ordnung

Ausstattung war sehr alt. Aber es war sauber. Es gab keinen Aufzug. Leider gab es keine Parkplätze.

Lower your expectations and lower them again.

Friendly and helpful staff who speaks English (up to 6pm, no night staff)

Cons:

The worst is there is not even an attempt at sound insulation so you can hear everything said and done in neighbouring flats as if they are in the room with you. The curtains don't fully close and opposite windows have a great view so no privacy.

Everything from the brown linoleum flooring to the sanitary equipment and furniture is dingy, old, cheap, low quality and kitschy. Only one chair and one small table for a 2 person room. The tiny tv didn't even turn on.

For 300+ EUR/ night there is no excuse. Only get this as a last resort.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Maximal fünf Minuten vom Bahnhof, dem Dom und einer der Haupteinkaufsstraßen entfernt.

Cons:

Leider gab es keinen Kleiderschrank o.ä., um die Kleidung aufzubewahren. Nur eine kleine Kleiderstange mit ein paar Bügeln. Also haben wir "aus dem Koffer" gelebt.
