Ubicación excelente
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente. Al lado de la estación y de la catedral. Llegas a cualquier sitio super bien. Llegué antes de poder hacer el check-in y me subieron la mochila a la habitación. Tiene una entrada independiente, cosa que va super bien para no depender de la recepción. Dispone de servicios básicos; toallas, secador, sábanas... Las ventanas aislaban muy bien el sonido.

Cons:

Las paredes entre habitaciones eran finitias y mi primera noche llegaron unas chicas gritando a las 2 de la mañana. Eso realmente no es culpa del hotel.

Pros:

Location was very convenient. 2 streets from the train station, so if you´re coming by train, it is very easy to reach the hotel.
Isolation is very good. Me and a friend came during the Kölner Karneval and despite having a parade next to the building, we couldnt hear the noise.

Finally, all personal is super friendly. They were very kind to let us leave our luggage after the check-out and come back in the middle of the biggest carnival parade.
Both owner of the hotel were very friendly and talkative. If I come come back to the Carnival I´ll probably book with them again.

Cons:

Room was a bit too small.
There are not many appliances, for example a small fridge would have been appreciated or an extra table to put our stuff.
The price for a night was a bit overpriced in my opinion but I suppose that it is because of the carnival season. So prices are overall higher than usual.

Pros:

Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt.
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.
Der Service beim Frühstück war sehr aufmerksam.
Auch das Zimmer hat uns begeistert es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, es war sehr sauber.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Pros:

The place was clean, that's the only positive, and it was convenient to reach my work location.

Cons:

The price was exorbitantly high for the quality of the place, price for a 4* hotel with zero stars. The room was 10sqm, with a single and extremely uncomfortable bed. I was told there would be a table to work at, but there was nothing. The open shelf for hanging clothes was a joke; it was moving and swaying precariously. The edge of the bed (the wooden frame) was just sufficiently higher than the mattress to make it very uncomfortable to sit by the side of the bed. The mattress was terribly lumpy. The bathroom had a plastic curtain, which is terrible when one is taking a shower. The worst thing was the shower; the water would randomly turn ice cold and boiling hot while taking a shower. The thing that shook me most was that they had given earplugs in the room for cases where the street noise would bother guests; that should tell you something about the place.
