Cascade Resort & Spa — Review
We stayed for 5 days (4 nights) in a large two-bedroom family room with two double beds. The hotel has good potential, and we would consider returning — but only if some important issues are addressed.
Cleanliness & housekeeping (main concern)
This is the biggest problem.
The toilet was sealed with a “STERIL” strip, but inside it was clearly not cleaned (visible dirt and smell).
Sink and shower were not properly cleaned.
Dirt remained for days (e.g. yogurt spilled on the table was not fully cleaned).
Glass surfaces had stains and smears.
Carpet had multiple visible stains.
Furniture and lamps had marks and were not wiped.
Very concerning detail:
Upon arrival, one of the spoons had dried residue from previous guests.
It was left as if it was clean.
During 4 nights:
bed linen was not changed even once
towels were not replaced
Service & attention to detail
Tea, coffee, honey and lemon juice were provided, which is a plus.
However, everything was placed very carelessly, just thrown into the tray.
Housekeeping staff were often in the corridors, talking, while room quality clearly did not reflect proper work.
Food
Food is tasty, especially desserts.
But the selection is very limited:
weekdays — very small variety
no fresh vegetables at dinner (only pickled)
side dishes are repetitive (rice or potatoes)
no pasta at all during our stay
Breakfast is monotonous (mostly one type of eggs, often with runny yolk)
Weekends are slightly better, but overall still limited.
Spa & thermal experience (misleading expectation)
The hotel’s own thermal pool is very small — not enough to spend time there.
The main thermal experience shown in advertising is actually Cascade Cave Baths, located across the road.
You have to walk outside to access it.
Important issue:
There is no covered or heated passage.

Nem illatosító kell a szobába hanem a csatornaszagot kéne megszüntetni.
Pros:

Csatornázás,büdös volt nagyon

Cons:

Alig voltak a szállodában és a étkező falán lévő hangos szobába rakták.
Itt is büdös volt.
Utána kértünk másik szobát.
Az már jobb helyen volt de büdösebb mint a másik

Alapjában véve jó volt, mert közel volt a barlangfürdő ami sokat dobott rajta

A svédasztal bőséges, a lobbiban a billiárd nagyon jó.A szobák kényelmesek, a kilátás pazar

Cons:

Nem volt törölközőszárító a fürdőben, így nem száradt meg a vizes fürdőruhájuk a gyerekeknek, nem volt huzatzár az erkélyajtón, állandóan kinyilt, hideg időben nem jó.
A svédasztalos fogásokat jobban viszza lehetett volna tölteni ha elfogy.

Az egyik kedvenc szállodánk
Pros:

Imádjuk ezt a szállodát. Harmadszorra voltunk az elmúlt 3 évben. Reggeli, vacsora választékos, fantasztikus. Kutyabarát szálloda. Ezért is választottuk többször már.Nagyon praktikus a földszinti Rusztic szoba saját kicsi sövénnyel elkerített udvarral. A fenti wellness is nagyon szupi.Biztos, hogy negyedjére is visszatérünk majd.

Cons:

A személyzet sajnos most nem volt a topon. A recepciós hölgynek becsekkoláskor először azt hittem rossz napja volt. De sajnos nála is jelentkeztünk ki. Semmi mosoly, semmi kedves szó… azt érezte az ember, hogy de jó hogy mentek már. Sajnos az étteremben lévő személyzet nagy részére ugyanez vonatkozik. Nulla vendéglátás. 10:30-ig van reggeli, de 9:15-kor kérni kellett tányért, evőeszközt.Ami nem nagyon tetszett. Egy srác volt, aki szinte ugrott, ha vmi nem stimmelt. A többieknek se egy mosoly, se egy kedves szó. Kellemetlenül érezte magát az ember, amikor udvariasan, kedvesen mert kérni vmit.

The staff and the location was amazing.

Cons:

Value for money, this place must have been a really high quality resort around 10 years ago, but it seems that there had been no innovation or renovation when it comes to today’s standard globally.

Pros:

Nagyon szép helyen van!
A reggeli és a vacsora is rendkívül finom és változatos volt!

Cons:

A szoba hőmérsékletét nem lehet szabályozni, a fürdőszoba kifejezetten hűvös volt!
A melegvíz kb 20 perc víz folyatás után lesz és akkor sem igazán meleg!
