Not worth the value of the money I paid for

Cons:

Service… you have to tell them twice before getting what you requested. There was no face towel or hand towel in our room until we asked. The receptionist did not tell us the whole detail when we checked in, i.e. no complimentary drinks and no wifi password info was given until we asked. However there was a family of foreigners that checked in and I saw how the checked in process was done. I told the receptionist that she needs to be fair with her customers. Also, Location is almost 30 minutes away from the town proper. Never again at Isla Amara resort.

Maravilhosa e superou as expectativas.
Pros:

A amabilidade/simpatia dos colaboradores é o que mais salta à vista, são extremamente prestáveis e educados. O quarto era enorme e tinha excelentes condições. Existe sempre alguém para ajudar na receção e estão permanentemente a limpar os espaços comuns do resort. O facto de se poder alugar motas, tours e Tuktuks são pontos extras. A localização é ótima para quem quer estar longe da confusão do centro de El Nido.

Cons:

O pequeno almoço poderia ser melhor, tem alguma diversidade mas não muda muito de dia para dia e focam-se muito na comida tradicional Filipina. Infelizmente estão a ocorrer obras mesmo em frente ao resort, o que acaba por incomodar um pouco pois começam pelas 7 horas da manhã e apenas terminam pelas 21 horas das noite. A pressão do chuveiro por vezes era inconstante. Resumindo, todos os “pontos negativos” são ultrapassáveis.

Schönes Hotel mit Potential
Pros:

Leider haben wir das Hotel mit gemischten Gefühlen verlassen. Toll war die Lage fast direkt am Strand, am Lio Beach ist eine super Atmosphäre. Die Unterkunft und der Pool Bereich sind schick, wenn auch in die Jahre gekommen.

Cons:

Leider muss ich den früheren Bewertungen recht geben. Es ist auf den 1. Blick ein schickes Hotel, allerdings merkt man, dass es ohne jegliche Liebe geführt wird. Wir mussten beim Check in um 14 Uhr noch „kurz“ (1 Stunde) auf unser Zimmer warten, so ging es scheinbar neben uns allen Gästen.
Die Zimmer sind abgenutzt und teilweise kaputt. Das Frühstück ist einfach. Touren und Rollerverleih sind im Hotel überteuert. Das Personal wirkte oft genervt.

Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr nett, vor allem an der Rezeption.
Grossteils sehr junges Personal. Gratis Abholung vom Airport. Die sehr nahe Lage zum Strand.
Zimmer war sehr laut (neben Rezeption),wurde auf Anfrage geändert.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Am Gang knallen die Türen, beim nicht rechtzeitigen versperren, geht der Alarm los. Personal ist mit ihren walki talki sehr laut und störend, vor allem frühs.
Andere Gäste quatschen laut am Gang, sodass nicht nur wir um Ruhe gebeten haben um 6:30 Uhr. Betten etwas hart.
Preisleistung stimmt nicht, mit der Leistung.

An excellent experience. We’d certainly come back!
Pros:

The property was conveniently located, literally five minutes from the airport. There was no aircraft noise. The beach is literally on the doorstep. Everything you want or need is on the resort. No need to hit the town - unless you’re after something noisier.

And the staff are the real gem of this place. Extremely friendly and accommodating - and nothing was a problem.

Cons:

No negatives to report. Except for the dodgy ATM machine that took my debit card, shut down and never returned it. But that wasn’t under the hotel’s control.

1. i waited for 30mins before i can finally check in to mu room. my check in time is 2pm but they endorsed the keycard to me past 30mins already.

2. there is no toilet paper available inside the comfort room.

3. the door keeps on alarming upon closing the door. you ned ro slam the door so it wont alarm.

Modern hotel and great location
Pros:

Modern and clean with perfect location. Plus the free afternoon ice-cream was great.

Cons:

Not a big one - didn’t change our towels regularly. Had to ask every day and we didn’t get face towels but other rooms did.

Pros:

Excellente expérience chez Island Amara !
C’est l’endroit idéal où séjourner à El Nido. Ne vous laissez surtout pas décourager par la proximité de l’aéroport : les avions ne gênent absolument pas, et au contraire, les voir décoller et atterrir depuis la plage apporte une distraction originale et agréable, sans nuisance sonore notable.

Cet hôtel est une véritable bulle de tranquillité, loin de l’agitation de la ville. Le cadre est magnifique : piscine immense, plage extraordinaire, ambiance chaleureuse, et une cuisine délicieuse, avec des plats très bien présentés et savoureux.

Mention spéciale à Claire et Hanz pour leur accueil exceptionnel : souriants, attentionnés et très professionnels. Leur gentillesse a réellement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus mémorable.

Un vrai plus : la proximité de l’aéroport nous a permis de profiter plus longtemps de la plage tout en étant sereins pour notre vol. Le centre d’El Nido est à environ 15 minutes, avec des tricycles (tuk-tuk) disponibles régulièrement pour environ 300 pesos.

Je recommande vivement Island Amara et j’y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Cons:

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur la piscine, mais des travaux de rénovation du parquet étaient en cours, ce qui a malheureusement bloqué la vue. C’est un peu dommage, d’autant plus que les travaux semblaient avancer assez lentement.
