Beautiful place but we visit out of season so not much to do.
It was understaffed. There was a problem with tv signal so no tv. Also card terminals were not working so it was cash only. And it’s middle of nowhere so no cash machines. As it out low season no wine tasting was available.
I went to the hotel and they told me to leave since there were no available rooms for me despite the fact I had paid 1 month in advance. Terrible experience
Unique design, a part of Italy in the heart of Bulgaria. Excellent quality decor and fittings. All staff very helpful if any queries. Excellent Italian chef and restaurant

No toilet paper in the rooms, no coffee for the coffee makers, no batteries for the remote controls, dust and dirt everywhere. The food is the worst thing that we have experienced. Ever. It’s almost like a joke. The staff is inexperienced and they don’t know how to be helpful even for small requests and questions. It feels like the whole place is literally abandoned and people try to manage with whatever they have left in the kitchen from last year. It’s ridiculous. Don’t even think of staying there. Worst experience ever.
Nice place with restaurant. Perfect for a short brake.
There is no much stuff , one person is doing several things.
Do not expect things to happen fast , but its part of the charm of the place.

The breakfast was good. The staff really polite and trying to help. The owner/ manager rude , not acceptable attitude. We’ ve arrived at 14:20, check in is 15:00, even the hotel was empty and the room was ready for us he started shouting at the receptionist that there are rules and the rule is 15:00 o’clock. Later he was shouting in the kitchen again. Half of the short menu list was not available, the remote controller in the room did not work. Bad experience.
Hotel is unique - after a downturn it is now under new management. Pool is still nice.
The prices have risen substantially, even discounted prices are still high taking the condition of the hotel into consideration. Pool bar not open. No food available at lunchtime so be prepared as the location is rural and nearest village has few amenities. Menu is Italian which is ok if you want pizza, pasta or rice. The dishes we chose were poorly presented, small and disappointing. Only 3 staff doing everything. There is a lot of refurbishment necessary for the hotel to warrant high prices. No complimentary water bottles, wine or chocolate as advertised on Booking description in our room. Wine tour which was great part of hotel stay used to be free for hotel guests but now you have to book and pay extra. If you have stayed at the hotel before, you will not get included what you had before. Luckily we paid a well discounted price with Booking.com and paid in advance as the invoice they gave us was full price and very high! We want the new management to succeed to keep the hotel open but high prices, mediocre food, lack of amenities and service (room not cleaned every day), and nothing complimentary now except for 4 coffee pods and one teabag, is not the way to achieve this.
