Really gorgeous landscaping, green, excellent pool and hot springs. Rooms were simple but clean.
In room amenities were on the older side, WiFi was spotty.
The setting, location respectively at Kokoro Hotel is amazing. Seeing the Arenal Volcano in all its glory literally from the bed was an amazing experience. The natural „gardens“ and forests around the property are wonderful. One can spot birds and other animals by walking around. We also enjoyed the hot springs even though the waterfall was not working. Kokoro Hotel has got a very good value for money product on offer.
Nothing really to complain about. We would return again.
The property is beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous. We saw so many different types of birds on the property. At night, we saw many types of frogs around the pond, too. The hot springs are very relaxing and pretty. The staff are wonderful as well.
I would say there isn't anything we didn't like. They offer alcoholic drinks like mojitos, but they are not good. If you are going to offer a mojito, make it with fresh mint, limes, sugar... Muddle it... Use rum and club soda. This tasted like it was a canned mojito cocktail drink poured into a glass. Also, we are dinner in their restaurant one night... The food was average.
Other than that, everything was wonderful and it is a great place to stay.
I liked the staff, from the reception, to the restaurant (making a special request), and even showing us around at night to see frogs and sloths! Mineral springs were the real deal.
It was all good.

Infraestructe kind waery, some places looked out of maintenance, jacuzzi not working, tv not working, no WiFi or really poor connection
The place is great!! Beautiful gardens, hot springs, walking trail, pool, restaurant with good food, and wonderful staff and service. Thanks to Peggy for all the useful tips she gave us and the warm hospitality.
The staff was very helpful and the grounds were beautiful! Nice little jungle hike available and great views of the volcano. Close to lots of activities. They allow pets which is great! The dinner at the restaurant was surprisingly good and breakfast was yummy.
The room was so dark, there were very little lights. It felt like camping in a rustic cabin. No outlets near the beds. The hot springs were yellow with poor water flow so it had an odd looking film on top. Not very attractive or enticing..
Gardens were nice
Very shabby and poorly maintained furniture and room; bedding and towels were stained; bathroom and shower poorly designed; breakfast was marginal
Lovely helpful staff, hot springs on site, sloths and armadillos etc on hotel premises, large rooms.
There is an unnecessary (as there is also a normal lock that we get the key for) spring-loaded dead bolt on the balcony door, which locked me onto the balcony. The airconditioner also stopped working at one point but was swiftly dealt with by staff

Natural environment
The view of the volcano was magnificent! The grounds were lovely and the hot spring on site was fantastic. We had a lovely dinner there and the staff was friendly and helpful, even coming to get us and the kids to see all sorts of wildlife at night on the property. Our cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The location was great . Close to downtown la fortuna . The Nature was awesome . A lots of trees and cute birds . The size of the room was good however the quality of everything was poor .
The bed was soft and uncomfortable.

We asked if we can use the hot springs for half an hour after 9. We had a massage, and we were trying to get to the hotel fast to enjoy the hot spring at night . But we got a No !!
1st experience in La fortuna . I won t book this hotel again .
