It was a budget hotel not very far from JR station, that connects to other trains, but it is outside of central area (thus, cheaper). Normal older hotel. There was a crowded "hot spring" beside the hotel, but I didn't go there and I can't comment on that. There was a large supermarket at the train station where the food was cheap and open until 11pm etc.
