Heerlijke kamer, wel rumoerig
Pros:

Ruime kamer, goede bedden, fijne douche, schoon

Cons:

Echt wel flink wat herrie, door de kerkklokken dag en nacht elk kwartier, gillende mensen op straat snachts en de markt die smorgens vroeg onder je raam opbouwt. Gelukkig hadden we hier rekening mee gehouden (want midden in het centrum) en oordoppen en slaappillen meegenomen...
Prijs is ook hoog als je de herrie meerekent

Pros:

De ligging, het vriendelijke personeel. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en ook hebben we daar 's avonds heerlijk gegeten.

Cons:

De eerste avond was er veel herrie buiten tot laat. Volgende morgen werd al weer vroeg de glasbakken geleegd. De klok moet ook wennen.

De kamer was groot en schoon, dichtbij het centrum

Cons:

Er was geen airco, daardoor erg warm op de kamer. Kerk die ieder kwartier tingelt in de nacht, daardoor niet kunnen slapen en door de warmte. Was ook niet te ventileren.

Pros:

Een heel mooi en schone hotelkamer. Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen. De kamer was am gered dus konden we er ook eerder in. Top locatie. Vooraf netjes geïnformeerd over de kermis/feestweek in Alkmaar. Was gezellig druk.

Cons:

De locatie ligt tegenover de kerk. 's Nachts wel een aantal keer wakker door de kerkklokken.

Alles goed verzorgd. Voor ons een locatie om terug te komen.
Pros:

Ontbijt moest appart worden geboekt, maar was voortreffelijk en meer dan genoeg! De kamer was superschoon en mooi. Ook de badkamer was schoon en mooi. Op de kamer was gelegenheid voor koffie en thee en deze was ook aanwezig. Er was een koelkastje aanwezig (maar daar hebben we niet eens in gekeken). Groot beeld tv was aanwezig.

Cons:

Dan moeten we echt gaan zoeken. Het enige wat ik miste was een stopcontact bij het nachtkastje om de telefoon op te laden. Er was wel een stopcontact verder weg, maar had deze het liefste bij het nachtkastje gezien.

De ligging, midden in het centrum

Cons:

Doordat het in het centrum ligt moeten de ramen snachts dicht ivm geluidsoverlast. De kamer heeft geen airco dus dan wordt het al snel warm en benauwd op de kamer

Sfeervol, midden in historish centrum.
Pros:

Ligging in het centrum.
Prachtige badkamer!

Cons:

De zachte kussens, er lagen ook 2 andere in de kast maar half slapend niet de moeite genomen te kijken of deze dikker was.

Nadeel vonden wij dat er 2 losse matrassen waren en losse dekbedden. Geen matrastopper.

De ramen waren allemaal open, heel fijn.
Alleen om ze dicht te doen voor de markt zaterdag ochtend moet ik op de vensterbank bank balanceren(3x)

If you’re heavy sleeper or don’t mind sounds during the night this is an amazing option in Alkmaar.
Pros:

Staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Cons:

The f**king church bell went off every 15min the whole night. I know the property can’t do anything about this but if we had known we wouldn’t have booked this. Wrote a complaint to municipality.

We had the best time in Alkmaar and we’re so glad we came to visit. The restaurant downstairs was pretty good too.
Pros:

It was in a great location and we went on a Friday when they have the Farmers Market and the cheese demonstration in town. The property was very nice upstairs above the restaurant.

Cons:

It was a little noisy downstairs, but not that bad. They furnished earplugs and we really didn’t hear anything when we slept.

Pros:

The location of the apartment is very central, a short walk to the train station. The room was super nice, very spacious and the bathroom is super nice as well.

Cons:

Unfortunately it is located just in front of the church, and the church has bells ringing every 15 minutes, so, if you need total silence to sleep, maybe it can be an issue.

We loved Alkmaar and would love to return. We were more than satisfied with the hotel!
