A beautiful and secluded stay
Pros:

This is a beautiful small hotel, set in a secluded valley surrounded by a tea plantation. What a perfect stopover after a long flight and our only regret was not staying longer. Everything about Rosyth is personal and nothing is too much trouble. The food was simply delicious and we much enjoyed our estate walk and visit to the tea factory. We loved our stay.

Cons:

Nothing at all - but keep an eye on the monkeys!

Mitten in der Natur - herrlich!
Pros:

Das Rosyth ist eine wunderschön gelegene Anlage mit allen Bequemlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Es liegt mitten in der Natur, alles ist grün und üppig. Die geräumigen Zimmer sind super geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Besonders genossen haben wir den Nachmittag in der Tea-Factory und den Estate-Walk. Viel gelernt über die Tee-Verarbeitung und Rubber-Trees. Farzana und Neill sind tolle Gastgeber - wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Danke.

A memorable, beautiful stay.
Pros:

We spent 3 nights, just relaxing, doing yoga, eating really well, enjoying cooking classes, estate walks and a thorough introduction to their tea plantation. The owner couple is really friendly, the staff are very attentive, the food is amazing and the property is absolutely gorgeous, nestled on a hill side, in the jungle, surrounded by birds and daily greetings with monkeys passing by.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable and fascinating.
Pros:

Wow, what a stunning place. Beautifully presented and incredibly peaceful, our family room was divine; the food really was delicious and the staff were beyond helpful.
The morning yoga was as heavenly and zen as the foot massage on arrival.
We had a truly fascinating time touring the tea plantation with Isuru (he’s absolutely amazing) and stayed and chatted to the tea pickers for hours.
Totally wonderful.

Cons:

Not everything on the wine list was available- that is literally the only comment I can make that isn’t perfect about Rosyth.

Beautiful boutique hotel on tea estate.
Pros:

This is a beautiful boutique hotel run by a lovely couple. The staff are so welcoming and friendly.
Pasan was so knowledgeable and kind. All of the staff were a delight with our children.

The food was delicious, amazing curry and rice and dahl! And the breakfast was a great variety.

We had the opportunity to have a tour around the estate and also see the tea factory where they sort the leaves. Really enjoyed the experience.

A very calm and peaceful pace to stay, a home from home
Pros:

Highly recommend it, all the staff were incredible and made us feel at ease. The food was great every night, amazing local flavours and ingredients. We travelled with our 2 children and the staff were so friendly with them they were best friends after a few days!

Relaxing, great food and staff
Pros:

The hotel is in a stunning location and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and everyday a different Sri Lanka meal. The hotel has still a lot of the original furniture and old colonial feeling.

Cons:

It’s location is a little out of the way 2 hour drive to Kandy but if you want peace this is the place

Pros:

Rosyth Estate is a wonderful little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The team was extremely welcoming and did go above and beyond, even though we only stayed there for one night. Special kudos to the best chicken curry we had ever!

Amazing hotel in the middle of the forest!
Pros:

Beautiful stay in the middle of the forest. The property owners were very friendly and welcoming as well as the staff that were always very helpful. The food was amazing and gives you the perfect experience of the sri Lanka authentic food. They also offer complimentary foot massage to welcome their guests and yoga class every morning! They have a non for profit tea factory and took us on a visit to the factory with a guide that explained every step of the process for free! Very calm and relaxing place and highly recommended for families!
