Schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal.
Nice spacious room. Large, comfortable bed for us and kids single beds looked comfortable and both slept well as well as our baby on the provided travel cot.
Tea station was good to have.
Great blackout curtains.
Shower was decent with body wash dispenser.
Friendly staff.
Good dinner with speedy service.
A fan would have been great in the heat wave but understand not always possible.
There was loads of towels in the bath and I was unsure if these were dirty, so only used 2 large towels and 2 hand towels that were on the bed/radiator and use my own towels for the kids.
Could have killed for a biscuit with my tea.
Breakfast was a bit of a wait to order. We had 2 young kids(3 &4) that had been up since 6am and had to wait till 8:30, then it was a wait at the table whilst the girl had loads of others to serve too.
Lovely room with a great service and kind staff.
Nothing - it was great
Very good hotel with good pub. Food available. Very good car parking.
No real issues. Maybe being able to order food a litthe later.
Comfortable bed, great shower, lovely fluffy towels, very clean room & modern usb plug options.
It’s been very warm, so the lack of air com, meant the room was v warm with limited air flow. Although there was a fan provided in the room. Nicer coffee, would also be a great option.
Good breakfast. All the staff were friendly. The rooms were quiet despite being part of a pub. Ideal location for the visit we needed to make. Some nice walks all around the area.
There was no soap in our bathroom and our only option was to have our choice of things other people had left behind. This had apparently been a problem for a while. Soap did arrive for our second night so I hope the supply problems have been sorted.
room, breakfast
The staff went out of their way to give me an early breakfast which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast at the weekends starts at 8.30am which is latest I've ever know however, i do thank Chris the chef fore coming in early to cook for me.
Staff and food were nice
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff great
The main issue is the noise from the road, it disturbed my sleep. Also the windows are old so don't keep out any noise. This is the reason I won't return unfortunately
Excellent location for our needs. Nice pub and easy parking.
Rooms are fairly basic but fine for an overnight stay.
Staff were excellent, Location good, not to far from M6 and in a rural setting. Very clean.
