The hotel is walking distance from the ski center where you can pick up your rented gear and then walk directly to both the beginner / practice lanes and also the one gondola and two chair lifts. There are Western / Chinese restaurants and coffee shops close by. The evening and breakfast buffets were great and they do have a wide variety including Western options for breakfast. The view from my room is quite lovely despite not facing the ski mountain and the floors are always heated. I was connected to lovely concierge Yuan Qijia, who always answered any my questions.
Unfortunately there was a problem connecting my phone to the TV in my room (to share the screen), so I wasn't able to use the apps to watch English movies, as the local TV stations are all Chinese. The staff did come to help me, but the problem wasn't solved during this particular visit. The rooms are also not sound-proofed and late at night people walking and talking down the hallways can be heard though the door. Also, if you are not connected to the concierges via Wechat and don't speak Chinese well, you will need to do a lot of translating on your phone.
Room rate included ski hire and lift passes. Breakfast was extensive but oriented to Chinese which was understandable as it caters for Chinese almost exclusively it seems. My partner also Chinese so did not have to test the English skills of the hotel or resort
Would have been better if the hotel provided lockers at the ski facility. Had to carry skis back to hotel where concierge looked after them in the luggage area as there was no ski storage area at hotel either (some people stored outside rooms in hallways!)
Resort staff,, very comfortable stay, great vacation and most imptly a fantastic ski resort.
In particular, our ski assistants (助理) were top notch

There are lots of facilities, such as snookers, ping pong, swimming pool and gym, hot spring is nearby with 10min walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Restaurant manager Ada Jiang looked after us very well.
Last of activities for the families. No need to go anywhere.
Breakfast was nice but the space was too limited, very crowded in the morning.
Staff were incredibly helpful, the manager (Jia Hongling) added us on WeChat and was able to provide tips for local attractions way faster than we could find out ourselves. rooms were clean and well appointed, and great value for money given ski rental, lift passes, and onsen was included as well as standard breakfast.
this doesn’t specifically apply to this hotel, but we found food prices inside the Wanda resort quite expensive compared to the surrounding town.
