With just a few small improvements, this hotel could be the perfect place to stay.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly, the room was in good condition, the breakfast was tasty and more than enough. We were able to park our car.

Cons:

The bed linen was too small to cover the entire bed, and there was no spare roll of toilet paper. It was particularly disappointing to see yoghurt from Russia being served at breakfast. 😢 🇬🇪🇺🇦 A small desk in the room would also be a welcome addition for guests who need to do some work on their laptops. 👩‍💻

Cheap, but not 4 star standard
Pros:

Good location. Easy access to the city centre.

Cons:

Definitely not the standard I'd expect for a 4 star hotel. A few things:

1. The booking.com page indicated to us there was guaranteed parking. When we arrived, all the parking was gone. There's 3 spots at best, so don't rely on this.
2. The breakfast is not a buffet, so you get what you get served. The food was alright, but don't expect regular continental hotel standard. Also, there was no proper coffee, only instant coffee. If you wanted coffee from a nescafe pod machine, you had to pay for it.
3. The rooms were not very soundproof. We could hear the people in the room next to ours watching TV.

Spotless room with a river-view balcony, friendly staff and a good breakfast.
Pros:

A lovely room with a balcony overlooking the river. Everything was spotless, the staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Cons:

It’s a little further from the city centre than I’d like, though still within walking distance. That’s just my personal preference, and it’s not something the hotel can change.

Pros:

Location on the river, great views. Two very good restaurants within a short walk - Paolo and Story. Breakfast was good and staff serving were nice.

Cons:

Very basic hotel, no elevator, no bar, no food available apart from breakfast. If one wants coffee from the machine it has to be paid for. Difficult place to find and drive to - down a series of one way streets.

Worth it for the rooms directly overlooking the rushing river.
Pros:

A riverside room was a treat - although with the Rioni running high it was pretty loud! The room had everything I needed. Staff spoke sufficient English to make things easy.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag. Nice omelette, the rest so-so.

Hôtel au calme en bord de rivière, pas loin du centre
Pros:

Hôtel familial agréable situé en bord de rivière, compter une dizaine de minutes à pieds pour rejoindre le centre touristique, en ligne droite, sans dénivelé. Petit parking, j'ai eu de la chance d'être le premier. Petit déjeuner dans le hall en face de la rivière, belle vue reposante. Plats apportés (pas de buffet). Simple et copieux. Personnel attentionné et sympathique. Chambre avec lit confortable, salle de bain assez exiguë, TV, frigo, bouteille d'eau fournie, bouilloire mais thé / café non fourni.

Cons:

Très bien, rien à dire de particulier, 4 étoiles est très exagéré pour les standards occidentaux, mais confortable, calme et bien situé, j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Super kamer met balkon op de rivier
Pros:

Kamer met balkon op de rivier is top. De zonsondergang met het kerkje aan de andere oever en het ruisen van de rivier maken de kamer heel bijzonder.

Cons:

Niks, al heeft het terras beneden zoveel potentieel dat niet gebruikt wordt. Wat mooiere zetels, een paar grote planten zou de plaats nog veel aantrekkelijker maken.
