Tutto

I was moved from Hotel Irma to an "upgraded" hotel called Luna Blanca. Patrizia at the front desk was wonderful: welcoming, accommodating, and interested in making sure I had a great stay. At my request, she moved me to a really lovely room. The spa was an added plus and easy to use, loved the cookies and tea. The view from my room was exceptional (407) and made the stay a really special experience. The chambermaids were very attentive and kept my room clean and resupplied.
I would have given the hotel an exceptional rating if it weren't for the following issues: The outside balcony lights could not be turned off and were very disruptive to my sleep. The "blackout" curtains didn't do their jobs, so light surrounded my room all night long. The hot tub in the spa just isn't hot enough - barely bathwater warm, and with the cold mountain air, it was a shivering and unenjoyable session. Patrizia said she'd ask the spa director to increase the temperature, but I didn't notice much of an increase. While Patrizia at the desk was exceptional, the afternoon clerks (two young men) seemed to lack knowledge or interest in service. I had asked about the outside lights ("I don't know, ask tomorrow"), how to turn on my towel warmer ("I don't know, ask tomorrow"), etc. One of them, I understand, is in high school and in training, but was left alone multiple days and seemed pretty overwhelmed.
Nice breakfast, good location, rooms are spacious.
We stayed in a room at the end of the corridor and the WiFi didn’t reach the room.
Some of the staff were unfriendly and not helpful to tourists / new visitors.
