Ottimo soggiorno!
Pros:

La struttura si trova lungo la strada principale di Haputale, in una posizione strategica che rende gli spostamenti semplici e comodi, anche per muoversi in autonomia nelle ore serali. Lo staff è solare, disponibile e molto accogliente. La colazione è ottima e servita all'orario concordato. L'ampia terrazza panoramica è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e godersi uno splendido tramonto. La camera era pulita, confortevole e dotata di tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno. Un'ottima base per visitare i principali punti di interesse della zona illustrati benissimo dal titolare.

Excellent customer service
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Mist Holiday Bungalow in Haputale while hiking Pekoe Trail Stage 12. After a long day on the trail, this guesthouse was the perfect place to relax and recover.

The hospitality and service were exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

The room was clean, cozy, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding hills and misty scenery that Haputale is famous for. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal stop for hikers and travelers looking to unwind.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience felt very personal and welcoming. We highly recommend Mist Holiday Bungalow to anyone doing the Pekoe Trail or visiting Haputale. Excellent service, great hospitality, and a memorable stay!

The view was splendid. The shower had hot water

Cons:

Quiet dirty. The bed felt dirty, the floor was dirty, hairs and old soap.
There was many mosquitoes and no net, no spray no fan.. we couldn’t sleep at all cause of the terrible mosquitoes and to top it up, there was a huge karaoke happening in the floor below us…

It was noisy in the night and in the morning as well. Bathroom fanlight was broken. Bad smell on the bedsheets. We requested 3 beds and they gave us only 2 beds. We book the family room , but they gave us a different room not the family room. They told the family room will be expensive. No food was available to buy. No water bottles were available in the room, No value for money

Acceuil adorable par le propriétaire dont la femme parle un peu français, la vue est fantastique depuis la chambre, ils nous ont offert plusieurs pot de thé et se sont montrés très sympas avec notre fils de 5 ans.une belle adresse. Si vous passez par là n'hésitez a aller manger chez ali "crispy restaurant" le patron est extraordinaire expérience typiquement locale!

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu mieux on nous a posé 1 barquette de beurre, 1pot de confiture, un paquet de pain de mie dans son emballage, 2 oeufs avec saucisse et des bananes , les autres établissements font bcp mieux au même prix, après c'est un détail laaaargement compensé par la gentillesse du propriétaire.
Massage pas ouf mais c'est une question de point de vue pour moi pas assez fort.

Geräuschkulisse: Fahrzeuge von der Straße waren dauerhaft zu hören, auch nachts.
Internet: sehr langsam, teils komplett ausgefallen.
Frühstück: in 2 Wochen Sri Lanka echt das Liebloseste (ungetoastetes Brot, Margarine, Marmelade, 1 kaltes Spiegelei).
Moskitos im Zimmer und kein Netz.
Fleckiges Handtuch.

Staying at the Mist Holiday Bungalow felt like a home away from home. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The food was incredible and very affordable. Really good value for money

Amazing view, friendly staff, tired room.
Pros:

The hotel is in an amazing location, short walk from the station and town and a stunning view off the hillside. It is literally hanging off.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend. It is fair for the price.

Cons:

However the room and bathroom could definitely be a lot cleaner. It was also a bit tired and could definitely do with a freshen up.
It was also very misty and damp in Haputale which couldn’t be helped due to the weather, but something to bear in mind.

If it was cleaner it would be 10/10 as the facilities do match the price. But it wasn’t.
We still enjoyed our stay and the view was amazing.

cosy guesthouse, good food, friendly and helpful family
Pros:

This guesthouse is located within the city centre and opposite the railway station. There are a number of eateries and shops within walking distance to cater to your needs. In fact, the most convenient way to have breakfast, lunch or dinner is right at the restaurant within the guesthouse. It has affordable prices, freshly prepared good food and drinks as well as sitting areas on the balcony and terrace.

We enjoyed a warm welcome and a quick check-in. The complementary tea was great to warn us up during the grey and wet weather. The family was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and well maintained.
Hot water was provided instantly and safely.

Cons:

The only negative aspect is the noise from the main road. But luckily, the traffic gets much lesser after 9 pm.

Google Maps might be misleading you. The turnoff is 100 m behind the location point at the big signs "Buona Vista" and "Assembly of God Church".
