Simple hotel for a short stay a short drive or train ride away from Genova
Pros:

The location is good, near the station at the end of the main road, there is some free parking a few metres away (however it does not belong to the hotel). The hotel has a pleasant old-style interior. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Cons:

Not much to complain about, the doors and windows could be a bit easier to open and close (at least in my room). Compared to other hotels on my trip I found it a little expensive. The breakfast is not very rich (as is typical for Italy), but the owner will try to get you some extra item if the cappuccino and brioche isn't enough.

Bad value for money
Pros:

The breakfast room is agreable...

Cons:

No thermic or accoustic insulation. The room was cold and the heater did not work. Very noisy (road and other rooms). Bed uncomfortable.
We barely slept.
Breakfast is poor, you just get a hot drink and a few croissants. There is bread but nothing to put on it... Weird. Nothing savoury.
